Stefano Rapetti from Sampdoria to join United as part of the coaching staff as per Di marzio. Can’t wait to see who else comes on the coaching staff. This guy worked with Mourinho at Inter also.

Fellaini gotta go, don't care if we will lose his physicality, we need someone with better technical skill. If we replace him with someone like Fred we will get the physicality and the better footballing player. We are a football team after all, not a team of physical dynamos, even if Mourinho wants that.

Statistically there has been improvement, but ultimately we're United and we've won nothing. So Mourinho will rightly get another season, bu it needs to be a good one or else he's gone I think.

hard to really be too optimistic about next season because even if we sign all the players we need, the football won't be much different and unless City monumentally collapse, they will still be the better team under Pep, sadly.

Actually feel for yer there. Been where Utd currently are enough times the PL era to not empathize.

City fans are buzzing as they keep on moving forward with scintillating footie with the best Championship winning season well arguably ever in the English top flight.

L'pool fans are buzzing, regardless of what happens in Kiev, knowing they're taking massive strides forward with the same, exhilarating football set to put up a challenge to the Champions with more quality strengthening to the squad to come.

'Spurs fans are buzzing with the new ground move and the similar, scintillating football they play to the two clubs above.

****, even Chelsea fans will be on a high and optimistic going into the summer after Sat'day.

And then there's Utd fans knowing they have his brand of football to face again leaving them the furthest thing from a second-placed side imaginable. (Not sure how he can claim you've progressed either when you've gone from 2 ...... Soz, three trophies as he likes to add the CS to zero and the gap to City has increased by 4 games but yer know? Far be it from reality to get in the way of his ego not thinking he's still the 'Special One.').

I'd swap him with Sarri right now. But lets see what the summer brings

I'd honestly be seriously worried on Utd if they had someone like Sarri. Under Mourinho, not so much.

Italian version of Klopp philosophy wise. No love for Napoli at all but they're a superb watch.

There'd be no talk over the likes of Martial leaving if you lads had him. He'd utilise all the attacking talent you already have to it's fullest. Throw in the money Woodward (who must surely be on his last legs too given both he's completely tied to Mourinho and the amount of money he's thrown at it) would spend and that's a scary prospect.

Big fan of Sarri and most probably the ONLY manager atm I would swap Mourinho for. But would still give him his 3rd season.

Mourinho is going nowhere. Why would the club sack him? He's steadied us, 2 consecutive seasons in the CL now, best finish since Sir Alex, the club are probably very satisfied in the bigger picture.

Us as fans, however....

We are delighted to announce that Under-18s midfielder @EthanGalbraith4 has signed his first professional contract with #MUFC. Congrats, Ethan!

United have won the ICGT tournament with a 1-0 win over Real Madrid in the final. Mason Greenwood with the only goal. Greenwood was also United's top scorer with 3 goals and POTT despite playing against some player over 3 years older than him.

Greenwood what a player!!

Greenwood won player of the tournament. Roshaun Williams, Gribbin, Chong & Greenwood were all named in the team of the tournament

Would not be for long anyway.

When you look at the constant turnover of coaches and instability at Chelsea. Mourinho never staying long anywhere. (Still living in the hotel with his family down South 2 years in is as telling as that gets. WTF Utd where thinking extending him heck only knows?). And Guardiola, new deal or not, being similar, it just makes you feel even more privileged to have someone as loyal as Klopp who the owners have fully bought into, safely in situ for the next 4 years of his initial deal at least.

That stability and time afforded to a manager to properly build is, sadly, such a rare thing in today's 'what have you done for me lately?' game.

Think you answered your own question on Mourinho extension mate. Stability. But tend to agree.
