Rumours that #mufc have had a £10 million bid for Independientes Argentinian midfielder Pato Rodriguez accepted. Subject to work permit.

Who? Has Fergie seen this one play? ;)

Nasri? We have seen him lot of times. Just a matter of whether he fits our tactics or not ;)

On the other news Gibson:
"If Sunderland

get the three of us it would be unbelievable business," he said.
"It wouldn't faze me one bit to leave, all I want is what's best for me.
"So if the best thing for me is to leave and go somewhere that I'll play every week then so be it.
"I haven't sat down with Sir Alex to talk but if it comes to me not playing as much as I'd like next season I'll have to move.
"I'm nearly 24. I'm going to have to go somewhere else if I don't start playing regularly."

Oh I hope that's true, he looks like a really talented player. Hopefully that will mean were not in for Nasri too

I never watched him except now a few clips on Youtube,**** he can dribble...@sunilvk7 he looks to small for CM

Is he strong enough to play as CM?

I think he's a natural attacking midfielder, but with all the qualities to be a quality winger. It would be very interesting to see if he is used in cm, as he doesn't appear o have the passing range of some of our reported targets.

I've not seen anything of Defour... What's he like? And how much would he be likely to cost Utd (bearing in mind what Mike. said about a first refusal agreement with Standard)?

Excellent deep regista, but shades of Pizarro in that he has a fair deal of bite in the tackle as well. Good player, I like him.

Just seen some interesting stats on twitter:

@R_o_M - Since 2006 City, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool have all spent more than United. We've won title 4 out of 5 years though

United have spent £164m since 2006. City have spent £456m. Liverpool £253m. Spurs £230m. Chelsea £200m. Villa £145m. Sunderland £122m.

Manchester United complete the transfer of Phil Jones from Blackburn despite clams Blackburn were considering holding the deal up.

I received a text from Jones agent 30 minutes ago to say the deal was completed

Haha, Aaaand as soon as you put that...
"The back page of tomorrow's Daily Mail makes for interesting viewing - it basically says Man United's bid for Phil Jones is in tatters and that Liverpool have stepped in with a £22million offer."
Don't even want him anymore tbh.

If you wanna pay 22million for a player who has already said he didnt join you, cause he wanted to win trophies, be my guests. ;)

Paul Scholes?

You make an interesting point, but he's not strong enough, in my opinion, of course, to play center mid. We'll see I guess. Anyways, he plays in about an hour, I can probably get you a stream, if any of you feel like watching.

I think you are probably right, but I don't see why we would buy him to play in any other position? (especially if were signing Young, as they seem quite similar) Oh, I'd love a stream mate :)
