LVG beat Liverpool like 4 times in a row? Also there was a top 6 h2h table that was being passed around then and u believe we actually topped that table? Of course, we were just finding any straws to clutch on that would make our mediocre season look good.

And the keyword here is consistency. We trashed Norwich City 4-0 on Jan 11th only to lose 2-0 to Burnley at home 11 days later.

And what attacking patterns do you speak off? We're relying on the brilliance of Bruno Fernandes each game. What happens when he has an off game? Or when he goes through a bad patch?

Firmino's being going through a bad patch for Liverpool since Jan but Liverpool still (for the most part) manage to win their games but having a defined attacking plan. Same thing with city.
Just checked LVG had us sitting 4th in the top 6 table in his time here Ole currently has us sitting second. Also a big difference now to Pool and City then and now. You talk about consistency since that embarrassing Burnely result we have been the most consistent team behind Liverpool. Despite missing our 2 best players.

It’s not just Fernandes though yes he has undoubtedly made a big difference to our attack but the team as a whole since the break are so much more consistent in all areas of the pitch just as much at the back tbh than attack.

Don’t agree with City tbh yes they still play nice football. But not a shock either when De Bruyne is missing they look at bit toothless. Cities problems are at the back which is strange considering how much they have spunked on the back trying to replace Kompany.

Of coarse there’s still things to improve on he’s still fairly new in the job and still trying to build his squad. For me he’s doing more than enough to warrant another season in charge.

You’re what,18 points worse off than at this stage last season. Did I read that right the other day?

Pretty damning regression that in anyone’s book. Injuries have hit but that’s no worse than most clubs and a part of football. He does deserve credit for the recent upturn like but I am amused at him wanting this player and that. How about coaching up what you have? The job of an, uhmmm, coach!

Thats what he has been doing most of these players are playing loads better than under some of our previous coaches. He’s improved a lot of our players imo.

U18s leading 0-1 now vs Everton. Some tidy build up play from the back. Balls reaches Bejger at RB who drills in a good ball but at an awkward height. Sotona improvises from close range and chests it home.

1-1 after 50 mins. Utd been awfully sloppy start of second half.

He's improved Fred and McSauce...that's pretty much it
Not really mate. Martial is having his best season since his first here. Same goes for Rashford since breaking through. Shaw is back to his form since his horrific leg break. Lindelöf has improved also playing better than anything under Mourinho. AWB attacking game is getting better and better.

Woah what a goal! 1-2 Utd absolutely top solo goal by Elanga. Dribbles down the left beats one blasts past the FB and drives towards the goal and cooly slots it past the keeper.

1-3 Utd now. What a magical piece of play from Shortire. Picks the ball up just outside our own 18 yard box drops the shoulder leaves 2 dead then megs another 1. Drives forward and slots it to Sotona who gets brought down by the GK. slots away the pen himself. 66 gone.

2-3 now sloppy from Utd done by one low long pass by Everton through both our CBS and our GK was miles out of position leaving a huge gap at his near post.

Lindelof got better for the final few months of Mou's tenure. AWB's attacking game getting better is still questionable. No doubting his defensive side of his game tho but that's always been the case at CP. Shaw really only gets back in form when his place in the starting XI is threatened. He was in form for brief spells under Jose as well.

Rashford's progress was regressed by Mou, who had him shacked defensively. He's having or he's had his best season statistically but you can't help but feel he can do even better. Martial's first season under LVG is STILL his best season at United imo.

Speaking of Mourinho, I sure am glad we got rid of him when we did. He's damaged goods at this point of his career and looks like the game has evolved beyond him. Imagine parking the bus while you're 3-0 down in the cup tie.

Not for me mate Martial and Rashford well easily Rashford having there best and most consistent seasons to date. Yeah you could argued players were shackled under Mourinho but at the same time you have to credit Ole for giving them the confidence and freedom to attack as well as do there job getting back and putting in a shift.

Yeah Lindelöf slowly improved the last month under Mourinho but he’s another level this season baring a few mate games. Expect Maguire being there is having an effect on that though. Dont think it’s questionable think AWB has his most assists to date this season some journo posted yesterday and his crossing is very much improved. Needs to really improve on his decision making though he’s missed some glaring cut back chances to free men.

Watching vids online of Spurs fans singing at the game tonight your not special anymore ?

Pogba started training again with the first team yesterday and could be in contention to play Thursday if not definitely be available for Spurs.

No Martial for tomorrow and possibly Sunday. Has a gash on his leg and bruising from colliding with the post against City

Loved Carra's analysis of AWB, we've got a gem but as I always stress with younger players, his greatest asset is his mentality. Love his no nonsense approach on and off the pitch, he needs to keep that way! Him, Maguire & Fernandes are role models off the pitch as well at the moment, giving us a real example that the rest seem to be following.

He may or may not be a gem, but I wouldn’t put much stock in anything that comes out of Carragher’s mouth personally.
