Didier Deschamps on Anthony Martial: "I wouldn't say that he has undergone a metamorphosis but he has changed, Since Solskjaer. I have noticed as well off of the pitch. He is capable of making a difference, very solid. He is on the right track."

BREAKING: Marca report Man Utd have signed 16 year old forward Alejandro Garnacho from Atletico Madrid. Utd will pay a compensation fee, Real Madrid & Dortmund were interested. He joins fellow Spaniard's Jurado, Fernandez & Mejia in the U18s and Arnau Puigmal from the u23s.

Garnacho has been a goalscoring machine ever since setting foot in the Atletico Madrid academy. In 2016 he was the Spanish top goalscorer. He is intuitive, skillful and absolutely lethal in front of goal. [Marca]

A great signing this. He’s been talked about as being a generational talent and Atletico went big for him to try keeping him there.

His dribbling and control while doing so is WC!

Anthony Martial won nine fouls against Croatia this evening. Only Franck Ribéry (10 in November 2013) has won more fouls in a single game for France since Opta started analysing the French national team #mulive [opta]

Struggling to get rid of Jones and Rojo, why did we ever give them clowns new contracts. Oh, same reason as always, to preserve their value which is actually non-existent as no ****** club wants them anyway!

Another season with them earning a living doing next to nothing, the joy.

EXCLUSIVE: #MUFC will pay Swansea a further £1m the next time Dan James plays 20mins or more. Part of deal struck last summer. He’s currently on 39 such appearances. Have to say add-on achieved quicker than expected when signed.

There's been a major breakthrough in the impasse over agents' fees and personal terms where Sancho and United are concerned. Sancho keen to move to #mufc before Oct. 5. But United would still have to agree a fee with Dortmund and that's not straight forward but getting there.

It sounds weird to say 120m euro isn't a bad price including add ons, but the more I think about it..... it's not. You've got the English player tax but then think about recent transfers like M'Bappe, Coutinho, Havertz,.... Dortmund have been pretty fair here in my mind.

If it wasn’t for COVID no one would batter an eyelid. But unfortunately it is a thing and even though Dortmund have every right to ask 120m euros. At the same time Utd have the right in these times to try negotiating it down as much as possible.

I'll wager a friendly bet with you (npt sure exactly what we can bet? Signature maybe?), that he goes for less than that when he moves next summer.

But that aside, yes, considering this window has been Utd's one opportunity at him, and Dortmund are in no need to sell with a player who's sound being there another year, that fee seems very reasonable from both stand-points.
