Brandon Williams not going out on loan now Ole confirms as the defence is starting to pick up niggles.

Bailly was involved in a car accident apparently but is ok.
 
Amad Diallo to line up for #MUFC for the first time on Saturday when the U23s head to #LFC. "Amad will play in the game against Liverpool in the Under-23s," he told MUTV. "He's been training really well & settling in. He's ready to get some game-time and match exposure"

Amad Diallo puts u23 0-1 after 13 mins. Pressing from the front and nicking the ball then shows absolute quality one on one to put it past the keeper 🤩
 
0-2 Utd. Great little play by Hannibal and Puigmal in the middle who slots it to Hugill who slots it past the keeper 🤩
 
Diallo nearly makes it 3 but keeper rushes out to deny him then he just puts the second chance from the keepers save just wide. Pool players ******** themselves when he gets the ball.

1-2 Utd. Good finish from the Pool player Morton. Poor defending from the initial cross.

No more than deserved after going 2 up completely against the run of play. 2 bad defensive mistakes, albeit both chances taken well from Utd. Which you’d expect with the first in particular with one 18-year-old messing up in the wind and a another £30 million 18-year-old taking advantage of it.

L’pool should be well clear but now playing against the fierce Kirkby wind (anyone who hasn’t been up there. Don’t. Unless you like being blown all over), the second half could be completely different.

Exciting game.
 
2-3 Utd excellent by Diallo again. Who slots it out to Fernandez. Who puts in a great drilled cross and put in fantastically by Haaland i mean Hugill for his 2nd 😋
 
2-4 Utd Haaland sorry mean Hugill puts away from the spot for his hattick 🤩😋 after Hannibal was brought down driving into the box. Looked a bit soft tbh.
 
Hugill makes it 2-5 after some good pressing from Shortire to win the ball back before leaving it to Hugill to put away.
 
What an utterly mad game in an even madder wind. As predicted half-time, the wind made it a game of two halves.

Utd just took more of an advantage when they had it from defensive mistakes. Would like to see the first peno again. Didn’t look one but it was a single camera so no replay to look at. Thought Ben Woodburn was the best player on the park. The lad scoring 4 excellently taken goals excepted. And he was on the losing side!

Mad game that could have been any score. 6-6. Take your pick.

Congratulations. Enjoyed that.

Now for me to go laugh at the Ev. 😂😂😂

Game of 2 shocking defences and bad wind. We just took our chances better.
