The Manchester United Thread

Manchester United officially register Zidane Iqbal in the full squad list for 22/23 season.

Zidane is now the first ever Iraqi player in the Premier League.

Ten Hag on having more signings for opening day: "It would be a good situation but I'm happy with the current squad, we make good progress in training which is more important, I'm happy with the signings until now. You don't need any player, you need the right player, that's what we're working for still." #MUFC

Ten Hag asked if right signings don't materialise, will others suffice to add depth: "If it's not the right player, NO. We need the right players." #MUFC

Ten Hag on De Jong: "We want Frenkie? It's about the right players + I cannot give comments on a player under contract at another club. When you develop players in your current squad, in this moment we have players in that position + performing really well." #MUFC

Savage captaining the U21s against Arsenal, no Iqbal so expect him to be fully part of the first-team squad.

****** it’s not being shown because a premier league match is on at the same time. What a ridiculous rule!!

It’s a talented lineup for sure!

Line-up was posted on the app

Mee
Wellens
Fredricson

I did initially blame him for the first goal but after rewatching it, it did flick off the inside of the post (plus the shot had a lot of power in it). Nothing he could do about the second either.
He should be saving that first one his possition was awful. And on both goals he was flat footed and never got off the ground hardly

2-2 today.
Elanga, Fernandes, Trossard and Wellbeck.

I was supposed to ignore transfers news and just watch football with the McFred special in midfield

It actually makes me boil! Plain to see that s the biggest problem. No surprise to see Brighton exposing Maguire side with Welbeck and the long balls down his side.

What happened to the promises showed lol. This bunch have the mentality of a wet paper bag.

Funny you’re not criticizing DDG when imo, he was responsible for both goals

Everything is so wrong with that right side. From Maguire to Dalot, to McTominay and whoever is on the right wing.

Dalot has a positional sense of a headless chicken.
