The Manchester United Thread

Yeah I'm gonna agree, they should have waited with ETH news, until season was wrapped up. It always backfires when clubs announce new manager while the season is still ongoing.
THIS!

it’s not enough that he was given the interim title, you proceed to make the announcement official before the season ended.

I think one of the reasons was ETH was consistently peppered with questions from English journalists so Ajax grew weary of that.

I'm so with you Jamie!! 100%
He's a f.ucking journeyman selling a brand.

I can’t see where he goes without taking a pay reduction. He’s certainly not going to get an offer from anywhere like what we did.

And the changes keep on coming 🙏🏼😀

Richard Arnold says #mufc are planning a 'big restructure', having seemingly finalised their restructuring last year with the appointments of John Murtough as football director and Darren Fletcher as technical director. [Samuel Luckhurst, MEN]

#mufc are planning more significant staff changes in a club reboot - they are expected to hire another football director, with several staff changes also planned at their Carrington training complex. [Samuel Luckhurst, MEN]

Murtough has taken overall leadership of recruitment, with support from Fletcher and Ragnick, the recruitment department and legal department for finer contract details as Matt Judge is about to leave his role as director of football negotiations. [Samuel Luckhurst, MEN]

Richard Arnold believes significant changes are required in a number of departments to change #mufc's image as a football club. Sources say some staff have got 'too big for their boots'. [Samuel Luckhurst, MEN]

In his defense, he was followed home and harrased by some fans, hence that post. Still very dumb thing to do.
Yep there are some really sad fans here in Norfolk, it's not as if he is to blame for the fact that Norwich City are not even remotely Premiership standard. I just wish some of these young players would realise that social media is a minefield and think before posting.

You mean they actually have a social media strategy? From the way the players and the club have acted over the last few years that is debateable to be honest.

Hence the changes. Our social media has been a joke for years. Stupid team training poses after heavy defeats. Names spelt wrong on official line up tweets etc etc

Just read we are going to knock off about 75m off our annual wage bill with those players leaving out of contract. That’s before sales 😳
