He stuck a leg out sheepishly, that’s it. There was no real conviction in trying to get that ground cross. He almost stood like he was defending a 1v1.It was hit with enough pace and he tried to get to it but couldn’t. Think you should be blaming McTominey for losing the ball and leaving is hugely exposed. And he made a good save down low. It was Fred’s fault for not picking up Gross from the save sleeping. Also notice how Dalot was nowhere to be seen on that side where both goals came from.
Dalot, I believe was inverted further up the pitch so he may not have gotten back in time but he himself was defensively suspect at times.
