The Manchester United Thread

So...
People are talking about Maguire out and Pavard/Todibo in.

Should I be excited, or is it just the usual b.ollox?
Would defo get get excited about either 2. Both would be a huge upgrade and it’s not
***** journo reporting it either. I’m not surprised and Pavard tbh. Especially as he’s highly rated in 2 positions and he’s worked with ETH before.

Well should hear about Greenwood decision today or over the weekend. Just ****** get on with it so we can move on one way or the other

Ten Hag on Kane: "We have chosen our striker this was the plan + we are really happy. [Kane] is a great striker that's clear, he is a goal-maker. Apart from that he has all the conditions, abilities, you want to see. It is a miss for the Premier League absolutely, we want to play the best." #MUFC

So quick round up of the seasoning opening presser.

Only mid to long term injuries are Malacia, Amad, Mainoo. Henderson, Heaton, Hojlund short term.

Club or ETH never had Kane in their plan.

Maguire will be available till his move is complete.

Happy with Pre season and squad shape and place in terms of levels going into the opening fixture/season.

Mentioned a few youngsters will feature this season and be around the squad.

Surprised that not shared here

Man Utd move step closer to bringing back Mason Greenwood after consulting women's team, sponsors and fans' groups. Six-month investigation complete but Utd delay announcement.

Manchester United can confirm that Fred has completed his transfer to Fenerbahce, subject to international clearance.
The Brazil international will make the switch to the Turkish Super Lig, after he successfully underwent a medical and agreed personal terms.
Our no.17 flew out to Istanbul on Saturday, in order to take his medical tests, following the initial announcement that an agreement for the move had been reached between Fenerbahce and United on Friday.

The midfielder joined the club in the summer of 2018, from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, and has racked up 213 appearances in total for the Reds.
Of his 14 goals, one of the highlights came this year when his strike drew us back on level terms against Barcelona, as we knocked the Catalan giants out of the Europa League.
He appeared in the Emirates FA Cup final against Manchester City, after helping us lift the Carabao Cup earlier in the campaign, and his most recent outing was in the friendly win over Lyon in Edinburgh.
A tenacious and energetic player, Fred played in both attacking and defensive midfield roles for United during his time with the club and became popular with fans for his committed approach.
The 30-year-old leaves so many positive memories from his time at Old Trafford, where he has been a hugely popular individual, both as a person and as a player.
Everybody at the club would like to wish the very best of luck to Fred for the future.
