Ole was let down by the Ronaldo signing; over-the-hill primadonna who gave his peak to Real Madrid. The Sancho signing was also a head-scratcher; was confident who was going to be our poster-boy.
Ralf was shocking. Ten Hag started with promise, then got stale. Qutie liked Amorim's character (in the media), but tactically, he set us up like we were Brentford every week. At least his recruitment was good (Mbeumo, Sesko, Cunha, Lammens).
Would love to go for Nagelsmann in the summer. Strong possession principles, but unlike many coaches with that mentality, he's happy to lean on transitions if the game calls for it. That's what a Man United manager should be. I want a coach who wants to stamp down a proper possession-first, attacking playing model, but also not be terrified of variance in football. To want to have the ball but be quite vertifical in their passing, and more than anything, be a realist! Football matches are often won in transitions and aiming to battle for & win second balls.
4 defenders. Wingers who take men on. FB's who overlap. Crosses, shots, some character. 60% possession most weeks. Play on the counter at Emirates, Anfield etc. That's what I want.
