The Manchester United Thread

Speaking as a neutral, would be great if Fergie could score the double on his last season. CL fiasko and now this, will propably make him want to stay even more ;)
I highly doubt SAF needs a trophy to maintain his hunger. I'm positive that we will win both CL and FA cup next season :#

Are you serious!? Just because a few players are not on form, doesn't mean you need a revamp. United have one of the best midfields in the Premier League and Valencia has just been a bit unlucky with injuries. I think most clubs in the league would take Carrick and Cleverley!

Let's be realistic here, chances are, you have won the league. What happened last season is very rare, and unlikely to happen again. The odds are hugely in your favour.
Lol injuries hardly has anything to do with valencia form he is just so predictable teams know how to play him now, yes we do have good midfield but lack quality to dominate games and cant see us doing any better in europe if we dont improve our midfield in the summer imo and other teams around us will only improve there squads aswell. Will be suprised if we win the league as easy next season would be nice tho:P

The league is not wrapped up until it is mathmatically impossible to have lost the title. This time last season we had "wrapped up the league" yet look what happened there. Any united fan will say the title is number one priority this season. As to him only saying that because "we lost" is rubbish. Obviously he would have preferred a win but we didn't and I for one was not bothered if we lost before the game and wasn't when we did. Just ****** at how poorly certain players performed. The only reasoning for your comment is to brag you beat us.

The points gap is massive compared to last season. And why wouldn't i want to brag lol.

To be fair to him, that comment was made while the match was still ongoing.

Or getting his excuses in early, one of the two lol.

No really, it would be nice to win another trophy, but I'm not downhearted after loss today. And I think I made that comment before Chelsea scored. Not sure though, you can check if you're bothered to do that.

I don't see how you can't be disheartened though, is it just Chelsea that takes the FA cup seriously these days?

1) Why the **** would I try to find excuses in early? It's a ****** internet, you and me are just some random guys. Why would I care about your comments and vice versa? If I do care, then I might try to find excuses, but trust me, I don't.

2) After last season, all I want is league title. Everything else is a bonus. Yes, I would love another title like FA cup, but if we win the league, it wouldn't be that much of a issue for me.

Tongue n cheek son, calm down lol.

Valencia: Injuries have held me back - Soccer News

Not a great source, but it was the first one I found. Injuries have had a part to play regarding Valencia, but I agree - he's not quite as much a secret weapon as before.

And another offensive comment. And no, I'm not upset. Like I said, it's internet. If someone can upset someone with saying something over internet, I would question that pearsons health.

I find this offensive as well!!1 ;)
How is saying you're getting your excuses in early offensive in any way? I'm sorry, but I just don't see how that could offend anyone.

Be like me, I only post while drunk so I'm always relaxed.

Offensive like attacking, not insulting.

Everytime I post something while I'm drung, I get banned |)

I know we are more than likely going to win. But it did happen last year, I'm just using the same logic as fergie does, as he hasn't come out and said we have won the league, and he won't until we have.
