It's not just a question of that, it's a question of denying Chelsea his quality too.
Rooney should train hard, get his fitness and he should be guaranteed a first team place, as he is a world class player. Moyes should shut the **** up about Rooney covering Van-Persie. He is too good to be sold to Chelsea.
I am getting ****** off about this whole situation. More than anything...
If its mata ****** **** chelsea fans are gonna regret having the special one back lol .I would love it if they offer 15+ Mata.I say sell rooney + we save hugely on the wages also.
Moyes didn't call him a backup. He said he can play with RVP dropping off, but if the worst should happen and RVP gets injured, he has the quality to step in and play up top too.
I don't see anything wrong with that, that's exactly fair, nobody is "second to RVP", that's as idiotic as calling Terry "fifth choice goalkeeper" just because he used to play a bit of GK and can play the position when the keeper is sent off, and him being offended by it. Rooney really is just a nuisance at the moment, I really have no idea why he feels the need to attention seek and cause all this drama. It says volumes that SAF called RVP the model professional, and he doesn't seem to do anything but bang goals; perhaps Rooney could take a leaf out of his book and stop listening to his agent wanting a fat pay day and really help Moyes and United form a strong title challenge this season to repay the fans for the £250,000 per week he's taking home out of their pockets.
Panic and offer him a new contract?
Think that was always going to be the case with a new manager.Ed Woodward has left the tour to carry out transfer business. Lining up to be our busiest, most exciting transfer windows in a while.
is there any 1 left that would make us better or have we missed the boat like all ways
I think the only two rumours that seem to have any legs atm are Garay & Fellaini.
Fellaini rumors and legs? Not even a single paper reporting it, on the other hand Fabregas rumors are reported.
The Guardian are, pretty sure that's a paper.
I would imagine the reason Fabregas is being talked about more than Fellaini atm is that the Fellaini things been going for ages. Headlines like "United close in on Fabregas" get your attention a bit more.
I also refuse to believe that Barcelona are short-sighted enough to sell Fabregas.
I'm not sure Guardian are reporting anything on Fellaini to ManUtd.
The reason Fabregas is talked about is that we have actually made a bid and interested in signing him. Whether we can or not is another story but at least for now that story has legs than Fellaini to ManUtd as there is no talk at all.
Much as I hate to agree with Andy, the Guardian did publish something on Fellaini: Manchester United target Cesc Fábregas and Marouane Fellaini | Football | The Guardian
On the other hand, the stuff on Fellaini is skeletal at best and a rehash of their previous story and bulking out the size at worst. There's nothing from any source regarding Moyes' interest in him.
