It's not. We were offered Ozil for £45m and didnt take it up.

Than its no issue .I was concerned for the jan part.You cant buy quality players in jan.If he leaves next summer i for one wont miss him.

Cannot unilaterally terminate a contract that way in January. He must also buy out within 15 days of the end of the season.
 
What does everyone reckon for the game tomorrow? For me, so far chelsea have been unimpressive and think with the right team selection could dominate the game.

Hard to judge any team on two games. We have only played one, so I'm struggling to predict what's going to happen.

I agree, I just think from what I have seen so far they haven't been as strong as I thought they would be, we'll soon see, can't wait for first big game of the season.

No, Rooney hasn't gone public with a transfer, and apparently never did ask for a transfer, but until he comes out and says that no one knows for sure. Everything rumours atm.
 
I'll eat my socks and post the video on You Tube if Rooney spends a penny out of his own pocket to terminate the contract.

If United are in the running for Bale I'll be fuming...... good player.... but the outlay is ridiculous. If you want someone like that position then target someone else, not someone with a hugely inflated price tag. If we can just splash out £50m + (Yeh it's way more then that) on him then why can't we just go and buy Vidal from Juventus.

I doubt it is us though to be honest, just can't see it, probably just a ploy from Daniel Levy.
