The Manchester United Thread

If United are in the running for Bale I'll be fuming...... good player.... but the outlay is ridiculous. If you want someone like that position then target someone else, not someone with a hugely inflated price tag. If we can just splash out £50m + (Yeh it's way more then that) on him then why can't we just go and buy Vidal from Juventus.

I doubt it is us though to be honest, just can't see it, probably just a ploy from Daniel Levy.

SSN states that more than one european club and an english club have gave offers, only clubs that could possibly give offers Chelsea (who have hazard on left so doubt it, plus spent money already), City (who have spent loads so doubt its them) or us...

All this talk of Chelsea making an offer to ManUtd for Rooney. i think joses just unsettling Rooney and ruffling feathers. more mind games.

That said, Rooney is playing so badly as a striker it looks like he's playing for Chelsea already.

lol ive admired Rooney since he was young but i have to say, save the wonder goal hes scored a while back, he just has not lived up to the potentail he showed at 16-17. He should be much more. i know he was played out position alot which stiffled his growth perhaps. If i was united fan id say take the money now. sell. Buy two young strikers for the money. Moyes must have complex by now every time he has Rooney he wants to up and leave!

1) Good thing you're not.
2) Like who?
3) Do you know what complex is? And most of those 'Roo wants to leave' are just newspaper gibberish.

Think he was one of the better players on the pitch tbf most likely to make something happen the little flick round the corner to RVP was good too

Rooney or Carrick. Carrick had I think only 2 bad passes ( don't hold me on to this) and made some great interceptions and tackles. Fairly happy with result, very happy with the way we played.

Tactically intriguing perhaps but a boring game overall. Thought Wayne Rooney put in a great shift at both ends tbh. Worked hard and was making his presence felt all over the pitch

That was a really boring game...... but can hardly blame both teams for not wanting to lose this one.

I honestly can't remember one United game I thought it was boring. Maybe because I enjoy watching/like them so much. United glasses and such.

As much as Carrick/Cleverley was not bad in this match, can't help but think a bit of class in midfield could of made a difference.

I support neither team and fairly enjoyed it was a good tactical battle I didn't find it boring anyway

Both teams really lacked penetration. Don't think either Cech or De Gea were troubled at all other than that long-range shot from Rooney in the second half
