if only Puddz had phrased it like that but again his statement sounded more like he knew how much United had to spend and either way i doubt its 100m+

What's wrong with me speculating how much United have?
Also, if I wanted it to seem like I know how much United have to spend, I would off given you a solid number like "134million", not "100million+" which has been reported from some sources backed up by the fact we do have £100million+ available.

my bad.. although i still doubt the Glazers will sanction over 100m worth of transfers

Considering we have had 2 key players, and a first team player retire this season, and looking like 3 players are being sold which has deleted our squad depth, I think Ferguson will convince the Glazers to give him all the money he needs, considering Ferguson's 25 years of experience.

still splashing 100m on players sounds very un-fergie like to me

Might be un-fergie like, but considering the retirements, players being sold, and burning desire to beat Barcelona, I'm sure he will be happy to spend 100m.

Maybe, although I would'nt get my hopes high up if I were you, Man Utd are pretty much sorted in most areas except the Central Midfield

Burning desire to beat Barcelona? Where did that come from lol, considering Man Utd really had to battle their way to the PLM title last season helped in no doubt by Chelsea and Arsenal's seasons imploding at various junctures, I am pretty sure Fergie will be happy to come out with the PLM title next season

The burning desire to beat Barca is probably in Mourinho whose team can probably be guarnteed a second-placed finish as always and they pretty much own every team in the league so I am guessing that most of Mourinho's transfers this summer will probably be done with one eye on that all important fixture

either way I am going off-topic here so I am gonna poof from this Thread

then you havent read what SAF said to the media, its his burning desire.

as for the money, what limits us is wages not transfer fees

It's the next squad rebuild for Fergie, he's willing to spend and shown it. We've already spent on Jones, and on Young looks like going through (Hope for another winger though.) and we haven't even gotten to the most important area of the field we need yet. The Glazers realise serious investment is needed, and I fully expect more signings to happen this summer. Especially considering the new FFP, this summer will be madness.

And he's said as much as he's determined to oust Barcelona: "Finding a solution is not easy but that is the challenge," said Ferguson.

"You should not be afraid of the challenge.

"The one thing we have shown is that we are consistent in Europe. We have got better and better over the past few years.

"Maybe this could be the kind of stepping stone we had when we lost 4-0 (to Barcelona in 1994). - Interview afterwards.

still need keeper yet but im pretty sure fergie has got that sorted despite what de gea said

I not so excited about this leightweight south america tbh. the best thing about the whole thing is beating Barca and city( if true) to his signature. I am sure someones going to throw some facts, stats and some un neccesarly long argument for Sanchez. But for me, And i make my judgements on gut as much as facts, I woud prefer Young.

every game i have seen him play has been great still a bit raw but can not dout his potentail bit like when ronaldo signed from lisbon think he can be that good imo

Sanchez is really good. Now we have P. Jones, Maybe Ashley Young also, Hope Sneijder will come. But i think he will stay at Inter, Would have been fun to maybe se Nasri at Man United. Luka Modric also. But they need to sell more players; Gibson, Evans, Brown, Obertan, Bebe.

All time premier league assist chart.. Giggs is comfortably at the top..
