Of course the agent has influence. Scarface's career has been run by Kia Jor-stupid-surname. Rooney almost left us due to bad advice from his agent.

I think Pogba will sign on but is obviously holding out for more money and more first team games - as is the norm with modern footballers.

This is the problem with signing foreign kids. If he has no deep affiliation to Utd they'll go were the money is. I'm sure contract talks with a 18 year old Gary Neville/David Beckham/Wes Brown etc went much much more smoothly.

I wouldn't be hating on Pogba just yet - we'll save that for when/if he leaves

I dont think its necessarily true in that sense, its also the fact the city and country is not "home" and they have moved once, it isnt necessarily a big deal to move again.
