Media bs. Funny thing is we are targeting like of Valdes, Casillas, Julio Cesar who are as bad or even worse when it comes to collecting crosses.

OMG IF THIS TRUE... FINALLY.... A MIDFIELD ENFORCER..... SIGN HIM NOW FERGIE.

just how good is Zaha? We in SA do not get that much Championship coverage here, maybe 1 game a week.. and of course, I support Manchester United..

anyone link a video of skills/goals/etc for him?

is he worth £15m

Marca usually is regarding Real Madrid players yes. It's a very pro Madrid newspaper and has close ties to the club.

is he worth £15m

Debatable. He has the potential to become worth twice that, but at the same time it's definitely not a sure thing. He's good but he's raw and he's one of those players that is very reliant on his flair and if things don't quite click he's going to be quite ineffectual. I tend to think that because I'm not overly impressed with his range of passing and crossing, but those are things that he could work on. His tracking back has also been a bit suspect in the games I've watched.

He would definitely be a classic United winger IMO, but he needs a lot of work. Basically, he's CA 110, PA 170. :P

ok so like a Walcott from Southampton??

I would say so. He's definitely got a little bit more in his mind than Theo had at that age, it's just about whether he can either learn to cope with the demands placed on a modern winger or develop enough raw attacking talent to be played as a game changing luxury.

£15m is a lot of money, but if you don't get him now, you could easily pay double that in a few years. He's obviously good so even if he can't adapt or raise his game, I doubt you wouldn't be able to unload him to a mid table club for £8m or so.

Both posts are spot on. Though its £10m up front, the rest based on appearances. This doesnt bode too well for Nani though.

Just as one last thing, watch this video. You can see the quickness of his feet, his pace, great movement off the ball, always looking for space and trying to pull defenders about. At the same time, after all that good work, look at the aimlessness of the crosses and final balls that he plays, at times he is reminiscent of Walcott and Lennon. I don't think he necessarily lacks the vision to be playing this ball but he just needs to develop. Someone like Giggs would be the ideal tutor for him imo.

Big risk is 15 million. Obviously could end up being a worldie off some his play, but still risky.

if I remember correctly his stats aren't the most amazing, but if you watched him play you'd reckon he was amazing.

So basically, he's another young Ashley Young. Selfish as ****. Quick and tricky for sure, but dwells on the ball and rarely passes it.

Very well put, couldn't put it better myself.

Wilf has the raw talent to be a worldy. It was obvious from a young age, he was just THAT much better than everyone else. In terms of ball control he blew everyone out of the water, and he was easily better than Victor Moses was at 16 when he was at a corresponding age.

His tracking is a little iffy. When he's asked to do it, he does it and does it well, but he sometimes switches off or forgets. The most promising talent of his is that he's already learned how to deal with being double-marked, and how to influence a game by movement if he isn't allowed on the ball.

No.

Oh, and one more thing. Don't just watch highlight clips of him. He will look unstoppable. He's that kind of player.
