How likely is the Thiago to Man Utd rumours? Haven't seen him play much so how would he fit in?

Several sources claim it is fairly possible he will sign, including Sky's Graham Hunter. And he's very good with the potential to become much better with regular football

Cant wait to see some of our youngsters tonight in u20 world cup- Henriquez, keane, thorpe, johnston and the new RB for uraguay

For sure we are in for him and it's very close going by reliable journalists. Graham Hunter said it's very close, so did Delany.

He would be perfect fit for us, he is very good on the ball, can dribble, pass and has a very good shot from distance. He is a tempo setter, he controls the tempo. Would love to see him playing beside Carrick with Kagawa, Nani, RVP in the team. We will finally watch some sexy free flowing football.

One of the best signings we could make. Add someone like Strootman/Van Ginkel to that, tie down Nani and sort out Rooney; could be a top summer.

That would be unbelievable transfer window. I think Nani will be leaving for sure, which is shame really as he is our best winger and very few players in our team who knows how to make intelligent movement between lines.

Unless we are bringing another player/making that Kagawa's position I'm loathed to losing him, inconsistency or not.

Yeah, problem is we are not even linked with his type of players. Will be interesting to see how many games Zaha gets, from the very few games I watched he looked supremely confident player and willing to take player at any time.

Isco would have been great as our left winger, drifting inside but if we can get Thiago and tie up Nani contract then it will be one of the most exciting transfer window for United fans.

Carrick Thiago playing behind Kagawa, Nani, Rooney and RVP would be awesome.

Van Ginkel's agent just confirmed he is moving to Chelsea. Deal between Vitesse and Chelsea has been agreed for a long time. Not surprising considering the close relationship between the two clubs. Mourinho convinced Van Ginkel that he will get first-team action instead of being farmed out on loan which sealed the deal

Carrick and Thiago behind Kagawa, Nani and 2013 Wayne Rooney is asking for trouble against any decent team.

Personally I'd like to see him, Carrick and Cleverley in a midfield three, with Rooney drifting in from the left and Nani stretching play on the right.

Either that, or I'd like to see the deal break down and City sign him, just for the simple, selfish pleasure of seeing Mike cry.

can someone explain me what happened to Strootman? according to some reports the deal was done few days ago but it's stalled... :(
Strootman and Thiago both would make this summer perfect...

We're waiting for tomorrow to unveil Thiago, Strootman and Garay all at once.

That's the key, unless Rooney comes back in the kind of shape we were used to seeing, then you are going to need a "tougher" midfield player against more powerful sides, or go 4-3-3. Unless you are really sure of being able to nigh on pass them to death.

And you are an awful awful person

You've only just cottoned on to this? lol

You know who would love it the most? Mourinho, fresh from Spain with 3 years of experience in humiliating teams that focus on "sexy free flowing football".

That 1 title win and 33% win rate really humiliated Barca alright.

They didn't lose the title this year because of El Classico you know. This year Barca could barely touch them.
