United have made a second bid for Fabregas
David Moyes confirms second Manchester United bid for Cesc Fabregas | Football News | Sky Sports
Very odd this situation, yet again he's being so open with the press of the bid. I am really confused because unless he is sure we are going to get him, this will only end bad for him if we don't.

No if he uses the failure as a smoke screen and he's already looking at other targets.
I highly doubt it, well if he is then they would have to be pretty big calibre targets anyway. You can't be linked with Fabregas and make two bids then end up signing Fellaini for example.
Why exactly is Moyes being so transparent during this transfer saga with regards to Fabregas?
In his first interview as MU manager, his exact words when asked "
Have you identified any particular players to sign?", he responded by saying (and these are the exact words)
"I would never speak about players at other football clubs because I think it’s wrong and not my style. When people are in contract at other clubs I think it’s wrong to talk about them".
It just seems that the two statements made by him clash horribly. However it may also suggest he knows something that the newspapers and none of us know.
Well, for me, it seems he's feeling a lot of pressure right now to sign players. Utd fans have known they were lacking in a couple of areas (left back, centre midfield, a proper replacement for Ronaldo (Young or Valencia are hardly this) and top quality CBs to replace Rio and Vidic), but Ferguson's stature and his record spoke for himself.
Moyes now has to field the same questions, and no doubt dropping a big name where Barcelona are not able to properly refute interest (there is no new manager at the moment, so you cannot say for definite "Fab is staying", as that depends on the intentions of the new manager and their needs) is like dangling a carrot in front of Fans saying 'we can sign a superstar mid, see!'.
Rene Meulensteen appointed head coach of Anzhi. Good luck to him, I always thought he was a great coach for us.
On another note he is replacing Hiddink who is expected to be heading to Barcelona. Insert 'Hiddink doesn't like Fabregas' rumour here.
Gerardo Martino will be the next Barcelona manager.
