The Manchester United Thread

I don't want to get anyones hopes up, but Herrera only featured on the bench today for Bilbao against Madrid. He is usually a regular in the side, so..... who knows.

Well, Young's useless per usual, Giggs just can't cope with players 15 years younger than him, he's to slow with and off the ball. Welbeck as a link up player doesn't work because he only has RVP whos marked with two players in front of him. Cleverley will give them a goal if he doesn't stop dribbling around our box. Other than that, everything else is *****.

On the plus side, putting Sturridge into my fantasy team was a good move.

Someone tell me what has happened to kagawa ? He did not have a preseason because of the confederation cup right ?

Yes. Moyes gave him few weeks off to rest. Since then, we only heard once from Moyes I think that he's unfit.

Honestly that performance was unacceptable, unbelievably poor all round. If we don't do something in this transfer window it's beyond a joke. Hernandez needs to start more, he stretches defences.

He's only just come back from injury. Lucky to be on bench.

I actually genuinely think we were poorer in this game than in the Chelsea game, which is not easy to do. Really disappointed, we need players in, midfield is just something unacceptable. Never seen so many back/side passes it was disturbing.

Seemed too flat and rigid with a standard 4-4-2 formation... badly missing a '10' but that could be solved with either Rooney or Kagawa

Really really need that central midfielder. No matter how good Herrera is, I'm not sure he is the type of player United need

At least Herrera would look forward rather than side-ways... something we badly need to address is that midfield area, I don't know whether he is right or wrong.

Depressing and shocking. No one stoodup for the most important rivialry for our club.

******* ****, the overreaction on twitter and other forums is just OTT. When was the last time we played well at Anfield? Since 08-09 they have done us a lot and only change was today they created **** all and RVP didn't convert the half chance.

Our midfield is still poor though, but sort of positive how we made Liverpool defend so deep in the whole second half, only if we were able to create few more chances.

Stoke, Villa and Notts county all did the same...

From what people who've actually watched him regularly say, he's exactly what we need.

He is.
Clubs needs to man up and activate the clause. And pray Martinez doesnt charge 30m for Fellaini

But last season even with 10 men Liverpool pushed higher and created chances. Also Liverpool always up their game against United especially at Anfield or generally we **** in out pants at Anfield and today neither happened.
