He's being judged after a stupidly small number of games. I'm not sure what people were expecting him to do with the squad he inherited. The only signing we've made under his management is Fellaini. He wasn't our first choice but he recognised we needed to strengthen in that area (something Ferguson repeatedly ignored)
With the squad he inherited? This was the same squad that won multiple titles. Yes, only player we signed was Fellaini and there is only one person to blame for that, maybe 2 and Moyes is part of that. He was handed fantastic squad and with only CMs to sign and he didn't.
What are people expecting him to do? Last season we were extremely fortunate that Carrick and RVP stayed fit and on fire. This season Moyes has lost the two most important players in our squad last season to injury. what exactly are we expecting him to do? We're stuck with what we've got & have no young talent coming through in that position, Powell still at least a year off. We are completely & totally predictable.Teams know how to stop us playing & we have a distinct lack of pace in the side.
What did he do whole summer when he knew our options were only Carrick, Cleverley, Anderson and Giggs? Didn't do anything to address it except for the last min panic buy. I still believe Fellaini will come good for us but we needed one more CM and it was so obvious for everyone. Moyes should blame only himself for not addressing it. Glazers sanctioned 27Million for Fellaini so funds was no problem at all.
Amongst all this we have a new chief exec who is seemingly clueless replacing David Gill. Everything is against Moyes. He can only work with the tools he has. He needs time to make a mark on the team, he's not had that yet. That's why I don't understand people who were willing to give him time suddenly deciding because he's not working miracles he should be sacked.
He shouldn't be sacked that doesn't means fans can't vent frustration for the way we are playing. Don't tell me this squad is not good enough to beat Everton, WBA and Newcastle at home.
He's the manager. He might not be the right manager for the club but he needs time which he's going to get, you support him because you support United.
You can still support the club and point finger at the manager for the mistakes he did. There is nothing wrong with that. We are not ManUtd manager fans, we are club fans and we want what is best for the club. If that involves pointing finger at Manager for his mistake then there is nothing wrong with that.
Some fans need to get a grip. We have no divine right to win trophies. Our squad depth is weak as **** especially in midfield. We need to strengthen in January, so judge him then if we don't rectify it.
Squad is fantastic and this very same squad won 2 titles in 3 years and lost 1 in the last min. If Moyes is not brave enough to set up team to attack in numbers then it doesn't mean squad is weak.
De Gea, Rafael, Vidic, Evans, Smalling, Jones, Fabio, Nani, Valencia, Carrick, RVP, Rooney, Januzaj, Hernandez. How is this anywhere near average?
