We're down to 10 and missing half/most our defense. Despite Man City's form, we were always going to have trouble dealing them.
 
Cant see how anyone can complain about this performance. Were a man down and been the better team for the last 10. Baffling!
 
Sending off cost us! No complaints about ref. Draw would of been fair imo, proud how we played with 10 men and put them under pressure in the final 15 mins.
 
Shaw was very good. Not a bad scoreline, they should have scored few more but our attitude when down to 10 men was very good. Compare this to when we were down to 10 against Madrid at Old trafford or against City in 6-1 loss.
 
All the money spent, city have looked the worst i've seen them since hughes and we are a ******* mile away from them in the league.

Bring on the europa.

luckily we still have 28 bpl games so still lots of chances to get champion league football
 
jeez, Smalling should get fined for that stupid yellow he got himself (1st one) Really did cost us the game and removed our whole attacking flair for majority of the game. Smalling cost us this game and he should be dealt with accordingly. But now Rojo is out, Smalling on a red, Evans injured, Raffers doubtful and Jones coming back from yet another injury our defence maybe rocky next week. Nice to see Shaw getting a good game today tho
