Fellaini will rescue us at some point today, long ball united will be needed.

Swansea could easily be 2-0 up.

Calling Scholes passes as long ball is so way off the mark. Diagonal passes to wingers and lumping ball forward to a target man are different.

Not really. Hitting your man on a six pence from 50 yards, whether he is on a flank or up front is a serious skill. Why is picking out the man up front any less skilful than picking out the winger?

Fellaini will cause most defenses all sorts of problems. Said it all along that Fellaini would be used as a striker this season once we started getting the midfielders in. We played our best football towards the end of last season using Fellaini off Rooney, with Mata and Herrera linking up on the right.

We need to take more risks. Its all well and good keeping compact and stopping the opposition but we cant win games unless we open up and take more risks when we have the ball.

Luke Shaw and Mata did exactly that, and agree about Fellaini. we'd have won againt newcastle with him, so many good deep cross, but no height, we are the second worst side aerially.

Darmain needs to be as aggressive as Shaw down the flank, perhaps not today as hes on a booking, but need that extra overlap into the space Mata is constantly creating
