What about everything United have done for him? People seem to forget how he was bad and many mistakes at first but we still stuck with him, ultimately making him into what he is today. Not every big club would of kept that faith, including Madrid, that's why I fear for him if he goes there. Few mistakes and everyone will be on his back.

To leave mid-season would be plain disrespect towards a club that has even tried to play their part in letting Madrid get him for a reasonable fee.

To be fair it took you lot 8 hours to read through the contract and add a few minor adjustments and send it back to them.

ManUtd were involved in multiple deals, they can't just sit and wait for Madrid's offer and respond immediately. Many players left and we are paying huge sum for a teenager.

I literally can't see what we've done wrong at all here, was offered bumper contract, didn't take it. Wanted to leave, we've held out for a fee that isn't even that over-whelming for the talent he is and played our part in letting him go when Madrid played their part as well.

I'm just saying you can't believe what Real Madrid says and take it for what it is. Even the Spanish media are blaming Madrid over this, so they've conveniently responded to try and justify themselves again.

Does anyone seriously expect them to announce this and put themselves totally to blame? Not a chance, they are trying to save face, as expected.

No I'm not at all, I just believe Real Madrid would release that with their own version of events whether they were true or fabricated to get themselves in a brighter picture with less scrutiny.

The spanish media was blaming Madrid, **** everyone was before they released that, bit convenient that they felt the need to release that and then how at the end it says Real Madrid is cleared of any wrongdoing, don't you think?

Madrid have known all summer what the asking price was, they knew that UNited would also want Navas. we all did. So why wait to do such a complex deal till the end. Especiually when you knew Navas didnt want to leave and it would take time to convince him?

It is madrid fault. Even if they sent contract papers at 6 in the morning and ManUtd respond to it at 11:59PM, it's Madrid fault.

Reason? They had all summer and they knew the fee but they waited till last day after noon to make the move.

Even journalists who have been very critical of United in the last few days are rounding on Madrid's idiocy. If United had been stalling on this for a week, you;d have a point but the offer from Madrid was the first formal one in this entire story. on the 31st august

I thought FIFA were incredibly strict about releasing material from TMS? Which is Madrid have gone down this route, because then they can turn it into a he-said, she-said situation without ever being proven wrong.
