Some of you are making this out like it's months of issues. Wouldn't think we were in the top four. It's three, four games. Relax.

One point is better than zero. These games happen all the time.

To be fair, the gap between United and the top is only 4 points.

Point away is fine, the style however, is not.
 
It's the style we're concerned about...

If we played some really good football and tied...i wouldn't be complaining...

A point at selhurt park is a good one...

But seeing how we got outplayed...it feels like we lost
 
Yup. Against tightly organized defense it tends to look like you're not scoring, ever, unless 30 meter screamer goes in. And that's just unacceptable given the amount of talent Van Gaal has in the squad.

Yeah Van Gaal's system is the reason why Rooney first touch is like a tackle, can't finish simple passes, can't run behind defense, his acceleration is shot.

Rooney is done and is holding back the team. The system was not a problem when Martial was leading the line.

Not suggesting this is the case currently at Utd as I don't see enough of you naturally, but I'd always be mindful of falling back into the 'well, as poor as the performances are, we're still getting results and are sound in the table' thing. That can often mask a lot and reading even these pages, it seems the majority consensus is LVG's stubbornness over your captain and style of play is holding everything else back. And the longer that prevails, chances are those results will slip.

I was thinking typing that of a season we had under Houllier where we won our first 7 or 8 games on the bounce and all the talk was of the title drought ending. But to anyone that went those games, it couldn't of been further from the truth. The football was horrid and we where eeking out 1 goal wins. It was only a matter of time before it turned and it did at Middlesbrough when Dudek had a howler, we got beat, and the form just flipped.

When the breaks stop going your way when you're playing like that, and the goals dry up, the problems really start to be glaring.

Seems the genuine concern is that results are masking a lot.

We're hilariously boring, this low risk possession ***** just isn't my thing. Most boring side in the league.

Joint goals with norwich ffs. He has every player in chains, someone just express themselves these games aren't a one off with united these days but beating everton 3-0 them ones are a one off.

These days I'm not confident at all that we will score a goal. Almost every game at around half time I just check whether we had shot on target.

All the talk about Van Gaal having balls of steel (which he kind of proved by dropping and selling RVP) but he acts like Moyes when it comes to Rooney. Singled out Herrera for missing the chance but not a word on Rooney's performance. With Van Gaal it's like players are under big pressure to score the only chance in the game.

Limit amount of chances for both sides to absolute minimum, and hope your side can edge it with individual moment of brilliance.

I really can't wrap my head around this, because that's not at all how I remember LVG's Ajax. Maybe its nostalgia glasses, but I remember them as being super exciting too watch. And we know he tries to model his sides around that 1995 team.

Its really weird.

Then again, things would have been very, very different if Rooney was performing on the level you should expect from someone with his wages.
 
It's an absolute chore watching us and it's never ever been that way for me, yes probably under moyes but even when the football wasn't great and even poor under fergie it was still fun imo and exciting.

Van Gaal teams are usually high scoring teams. His Ajax, Bayern teams scored a lot and also his Dutch team in qualification. They scored most goals and better GD than any other team or maybe in 2nd position.

Which is what makes it all the more bizarre. Rooney needs to be dropped.
