The Manchester United Thread

I apologise for people whom have moaned about my long post earlier.....

No need to apologise for your thoughts man. It's a democratic football forum and they're as valid as anyone else's.

But it'd help if you'd use paragraph's. Reading a large block of solid text is hard work on one's eyes.

Paragraphs are God's gift to man.

Use them.

Also, watching fanbase reaction to events of last month, I seriously worry about this club. Far too much reactionary shitfuckery and expectations for instant success. Hopefully Woodward has more patience than most of the fans, cause if they just start firing managers left right and center, the whole place will go full Galatico-Real-Madrid 2.0.

And that's not good for anybody.

Lol at the fergie out and LVG comparisons, same stuff people were using to defend moyes shame it's gotten to that point for a former great manager like Van Gaal.

I also expected better in game management from Louis as well.

City officials convinced Guardiola is coming at the end of the season

Cant fathom what United are doing. If it was a straight contest between United and City, pretty sure United will win as Guardiola likes to be seduced by history and traditions of a club. With Bayern making overtures for Ancelloti, no idea who United will go for now

Rafa will be available in the summer. ;)

Hmmm, so it's between Giggs, Brentan and Dithering Dave.. ****, not many clubs have so many choices.

The resources of Utd compared to Bournemouth it's no type of acceptable anything and I'll leave it at that and leave you all to debate the why's and wherefores of what's wrong or not right now.

When the whole backline including their back ups are injured then it's a very valid excuse.

Valencia - Darmian
Smalling - Jones
Shaw - Rojo

Whole defense was injured and only fit player was Blind.

I don't believe Pep to City rumors at all. We all were told he would be City manager for 3 years running.

It would be madness if we fail to get either Ancelotti or Pep, hopefully we have learnt our lessons post Fergie and act very quickly like Bayern did with Pep.

Yes because they have been chasing him for 3 years and this time they are confident that the deal is sealed as Pep doesn't plan of renewing contract with Bayern. Could be confirmed as soon as January. Let's see

Oliver Kay also tweeted that MUFC officials briefing journalists that they expect Guardiola to move to another English club and unconvincingly adding that they didn't want him anyway. If Guardiola is out of the picture, then United face a fight for Ancelloti with Bayern lurking

Nah, wont be confirmed for defo until he signs, City will want to keep it wrapped behind doors as long as possible, if it ever happens. Take Pelle, United could do worse. Keep LVG's defence, integrate Pelle's attack. sorted.

Yeah and all the time media said he will sign for City in the summer and it didn't happen yet.

Looks like Pelligrini will win the league this season, so hard for City to sack him after just winning the league.

Re, Oliver Kay, I wouldn't read much into his reports. I'm sure Pep would continue at Bayern.

Nope. Its clear they'd sell their grandmothers for a shot at Pep as manager, Pelle could land the League Cup and League and still be shown the door.
