Ive literally just bought him on FM16 in the Jan 16 window for £3.5m. Seems a good player with a bit of room for improvement aswell. But I have no idea what he's like IRL

IRL he is top class, would be a good signing but probably not what United need imo

Tbf most managers we would like now have been sacked at a club previously which you would question. There is a reason why Mourinho got fired but top clubs in the world still want him.

Fair point, but he was fired for being dreadful. Personal favourite still being the game he played against us where, despite needing goals, he didn't bring on a striker for 60 minutes.

I think any kind of spark to the team at the moment is needed, if he offers something different in the middle and is prospect become one of the best in the world in a few years we should definitely do it as we can get Schweini to tutor him. Plus our midfield isn't as good as it looks at first glance, Carrick is practically done, Fellaini and maybe even Herrera are most likely gone in summer.

Sounds legit! I know nothing about this guy but as soon as I saw position played as a footballer 'goalkeeper' doubts straight away came into my mind, rightly or wrongly.

I get point but a striker and a new winger should be higher on the list for me

God don't burden us with that dilemma man.

Want him to stay forever! Can't be the team that get's him the sack. That would be a bitter sweet victory and then some! :(.

You read what zz posted above, and it looks like A N Other run of the mill midfielder. But you watch him with the one thing that doesn't lie, the eye test, and you'll appreciate all the other things he does and how he elevates the whole team around him when he's in the park.

That's the point, I don't see that. I see a guy who's makes for great YouTube highlight reel, but doesn't make a consistent impact. He's obviously good, but not "OMG it's Jesus reborn" kind of good people are making him out to be.

Van Gaal said something like he won't play in U21 as they want him to make be ready for first team. Maybe tomorrow he will be on bench,

Just shows FIFA awards are worthless and the best 11 is even bigger joke.

How Sergio Ramos gets in every year is beyond me. Godin, Boateng are better CBs than him and had better seasons. Those many madrid players is beyond joke.

Also Pique won everything and was one of their best defender but now he is not in because media has cooled their interest in him. He was miles better than Ramos.
