I'm afraid majority doesn't mean what you think it means.
Valencia - mutual consent
Liverpool - mutal consent
Inter - sacked
Chelsea - contract run out, he got the Napoli offer
Napoli - contract run out, he got the Madrid offer
Madrid - sacked, but they would sack even Jesus, so it barely counts as half a sacking.
Experienced in the Prem - check
Master tactician - check.
Experienced with fireman jobs - check
Wins **** - check
What other ticks are there if you need someone to salvage the season?
Thought so.
Sorry bud, but mutual agreements in this day and age is the same as being sacked, only you have been asked to leave not full on sacked. If you have been asked to leave and say no you are done for anyway. Tell me, how does one have the conversation of both parties wanting to "both part ways"? You see it everywhere, from the police to football. ****, I have unfortunately given that choice to people myself.
Look at Inter when he joined, he destroyed a champions league winning club faster than anyone could have thought, and yes, Jose may have been in charge and we all know he never leaves a club in a good position, but to implode it like he did is special in itself. Also, lets not forget that we thought LVG was an attacking and winning manager but let's just say recent evidence conflicts that statement. And again, he is an ex 'Pool manager. We should never even think of getting him. Even Scouse, one of the more dedicated 'Pool fans on the forum knows he isn't right and Rafa won them a CL.
We don't need a fireman, we need someone who knows how to get the best of the squad, we have very little deadwood in the squad, we just need quality and an attacking edge. We will not have much chance to salvage this season bringing in another manger, who will only be short term themselves. It would be pointless and ridiculous. That fixes ****** all bringing in Rafa.
One final and huge point, bringing in Rafa will **** of half of the united fans straight away so that won't help matters either.
