The Manchester United Thread

Thank you and congratulations.

As ****** and frustrated as I am, no real complaints when you're as profligate and lack the composure in front of goal we did. Again.

That tends to happen when you play without a centre forward. You turned the False 9 into a false attack!!!

We wouldn't of even had the chances to miss had Benteke been up there. Who outside of Sinclair is the only forward we currently have.

Manchester United have won more games at Anfield this year than Liverpool.

Our youth academy needs a major overhaul from top to bottom.

You don't know what would happen with arsenal tho.

Injuries usually, but this season seems different as Tyton said Arsenal have coped quite well without some key players like Sanchez, Cazorla and Coquelin. Hard to actually say which one of these three is most missed. Most would say Sanchez, but we have been defensively more vulnerable without Coquelin.

Yeah. That new lad from Basle is desperately needed. Flamini was all over the place Wednesday. And with Ramsey bombing forward there's a major hole to exploit there.

Yeah with Coquelin we should have won that game. Still everything well in place to win it this year. We have more home games than City and they have been quite poor on the travels this season. Also is African Cup of Nations on this year? If it is they could lose quite a few players there for some time.

Lmao Rojo and Jones in the away end celebrating like loonies with the fans, great to see stuff like that.

..... Who else saw Rojo and Jones celebrating in the stands?

Hope poor Jones didn't get injured while celebrating with the fans...

Missed these as I skimmed through last night .....

Didn't know at all they were in the away end naturally at the game. Only found out when I masochistically watched the highlights back on MOTD. I take the completely opposite view, as a match going fan (important distinction to remember before someone complains) .....

I hate that. United's biggest away game the season. We give what, 2,700/ 2,800 the away section? No doubt lads were outside who couldn't get in. And three tickets have gone to three players who have there own section the directors box regardless. Might of looked great from a PR standpoint. And it is good to see players celebrating with their fans. But not THAT game of ALL games. I'd be ****** off if situations were reversed and say Sturbridge tipped up next to me the Scoreboard End with maybe a mate missing out.

You'd be even more ****** if you were a United fan that dipped out on a ticket.

How do you know they didn't just trade tickets with somebody?

Ive been praying day and night that Arsenal balls it up again this year as I really wont be able to take the attitude of their fans if they win the league. I mean they ve done nearly fck all for ages now and their fans are still insufferable deluded fools who think that Arsenal are the best thing since sliced anything. Plus they harp on endlessly about the "invincibles" at every given opportunity. And about playing sooo beautifully as if that was the sole point of footie. Can you imagine what would happen if they won it?! Plus I cant stand Wenger.

You know what Arsenal, or most English football fans would reply to that mate?

It would involve the expression about dark coloured cooking and drinking items. :P ;).

Behave mate will yer. They won't if even been paid for let alone anything else.

United have historically got players in with the away fans if the players wanted to be there. You wont see United match going away fans complaining that the players are there with them. There is always a small amount held back for players, usually no more than 20-30.

One side blame modern game and players for not getting involved with fans and on other other hand blame them when they do because they took 3 tickets.
