There was another where he was directly at fault, plus about 5000 counterattacks when he lost the ball like a moron.
Yeh as the other guys have commented, there have been other instances where he has as well. I personally think his attitude is one of the main issues, that need sorting out, I'm sure LVG is addressing it though as he knows him better than any of us. Quite telling that he has gone from starting games to barely featuring in them though.
In other news, Gary Neville continues to make a muppet out of himself in Valencia.
I have no idea what Valencia board was expecting. Who the **** hires a guy to a serious club, purely on basis that he talks nice on TV?

He might not even go back to punditry either. Because that **** will never go away. He will never look credible as pundit again, not after his first attempt at management turned out to be an embarassment of epic proportions.
Seriously, I don't know what was he thinking when taking that job. Its hard enough to start managerial career right in the top division. But to do it in another country, without knowing the league, ****, without even knowing the language?

Yep and since September things are worse as there is no Luke Shaw behind him to save his **** every time he ***** up his unreadable cutting inside tricks.

If Jamie Redknapp can steal a living as a pundit I think Neville will be fine. Sky will welcome him back with open arms he is the best out there and at least he had a go which is more than most of these so called pundits.

Dont understand why people are criticizing Neville. Yes he has not done well in his first stint as a manager but at least he had the balls to dive into it and give it a go. Most pundits talk a great game on television but run at the first sight of trouble in the real world. My favourite case example as usual being Roy Keane
Except Roy actually had some success as manager.
Yes he won the Championship by signing 11 players at a club that had just been relegated. Hardcore

To keep with the analogy some what, to go from the sterile boredom of Van Gaal to the even more sterile boredom of Mourinho, who would doubtless jettison any promising kids; would be jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.
Yeah, he'd doubtless get you results. But the whole ethos of what Utd fans like to claim you should stand for would well and truly be over if you hired Mourinho.

Sunderland were straight on the road to League One when he arrived. He took them up and kept them in PL the next year. It ain't a Champions League trophy, but it's something. He gave up on being manager, but he certainly wasn't total ******* disaster Neville seems to be.
