Without a doubt i would take Ibra as a fan and knowing his class. But as from manager stand point having main striker 35-37 old with massive wage is not the best option. And there is a change he wont suit the team mentality. And thats why Higuain might be better option. Player maybe at his best age and proven goalscorer. Would reach 20+ a season. He is not wort 50-60 and they wont ask that much i think. But dont know much about Napoli trasnfers also. Might go maybe for like 30mil? I think u cant take is country games as an example if he is good. They just have too much choices up front and he is played out of position. He is hard working, stroner (will suit prem), aggressive enough and have pace with finishing to lead that line for you.

For me it is strange that fans are so exited about 50-60mil transfer for 18 year old kid. He can grow something special but 50-60mil just too much. And remember someone saying that even Lukaku is not worth that much...

But end of the day. All goes down who the **** will be your manager next season. Wrap that thing up and then off to market.

Higuain wont go for anything under 60m, and it will be closer to 70m.

Which all takes away any lingering doubt anyone may of had that Van Gaal may be retained.

Would certainly massage his ego even further to say he won yet another league in yet another Country.

Even if that Country has a league that is as competitive as Scotland.

The Jose links to PSG are made up trip by Burton. And Mou has denied the rumours today saying he wants to work in a challenging league and prefers to stay in England. Also no French sports outlet running it today what so ever.
 
Plus Luckhurst, Delaney, Jackson and Palmer are all saying on Twitter he won't go to work in Paris. And have quoted one of his recent interviews.

True I suppose but they have just given him a long term contract and was reported in France that they went to see him after they was knocked out of the CL and gave him there backing for the future. And tbh Sky is as reliable as MEN these days :) ok not that bad but not as good as they use to be. Can't wait for this season to be over ! Gonna be fun summer for most clubs

I think we are saying essentially the same thing. Player has to be happy with the overall move. He will not do it simply because Jose is managing United

Oh, not reading much of anything into it. Wouldn't be surprised if Mendez put this out there to try force Utd's hand.

But IF the Qatari's do get involved it becomes interesting. They're way more crazy than the City owners have ever been when it comes to money being no object. The combination of living in Paris with an unlimited budget to go chase a third European Cup with a third different team ..... it would make things interesting for him in a month or so.

Jose wants the United job, otherwise he would have signed up to PSG weeks ago. Long been wanted there.

This is all about having an option, and forcing a decision form United/putting the power balance back in Mendes' hand.

Oh of course, but if the player was open to a move, he would push them there if Jose wanted that player.
 
About the Mourinho to PSG rumours(which I don't believe)I would actually prefer it happened if it means we can get Laurent blanc as manager, he may be tactically inferior, but he looks like a good long term manager and actually knows the club(played for us 2001-2003).
Thoughts?
