Yeah I would have left it a day or two. Just watching the replays and as soon as the players picked up the trophy ED was on the phone in deep discussion. Maybe nothing, maybe give the go ahead. But things looked friendly with him and LVG maybe he knew already hence all the evasive answer in his after interviews.

He probably knows for a while now, but the media should really leave him in peace at least today for god's sake. He now gets to retire with a trophy, but his last press conference will be full of Mourinho questions instead of questions about the match.
