The Manchester United Thread

What a half, what a ******* half. Absolute sheer class, superior finishing, vision, passing. Everything.

I know he is playing ***** and I wanted him dropped and he should be, however after this I think it could nail his career at United unless he the Rooney of 08/12 comes back.

It's 4-0 tho. Lmao...that affects a team's morale. I think we should look to control the 2nd half...

Honestly mate, you're going to laugh, but I take nothing for granted in this league. And coming out of the blocks doesn't necessarily go all out attack, I mean win every second ball, be hungry, etc.

But don't get me wrong, I'm so beyond ecstatic with this :)

In other news, when United score 4 first half goals but Ibrahimovic doesn't score or assist any of them;

Ok, i was ******* wrong. Rooney out of the team really does make us play better.

We ranieri just subbed off 2 attackers for 2 mids. It's obviously damage control at this point

I dont think Rooney was stopping you putting 3 corners away.

Considering he hits the first man with practically every corner then yes I would say he's one of the biggest reasons why. Not a chance would Rooney have took that corner quickly and thats just for starters. And by Rooney not being on the pitch, Zlatan, Pogba and Mata have so much space to work in around the box and all compliment each other well. Jose needs to keep Rooney on that bench and send a clear message. This is what we have done without you. Pull your finger out and work to get back in the team.

Leicester massively outmoved and outumbered without Kante, playing 442 in a game like this is suicide. Cant see what he was thinking from the off.

MUFC running rings in that space.. awesome play.

Magnificent goal from gray. Normally I don't like us conceding goals but goals like that have got to be applauded.

Superb win, this is exactly the result we needed to steady the ship. Get a result on Thursday night with a likely reshuffled pack, and then smash Sparky & his out of form Stoke City at Old Trafford next Sunday (should he be still employed at that point).

And then hope & pray we don't have an unfortunate international break and get everyone back in one piece.

Now everyone lump your hard earned on Crolla tonight! The pattern continues!!

Great win destroyed them in the first half controlled the second. Rashford, Mata, Ibra all led the line well in attack. And Pogba and Herrera were in beast mode today. Bring on Thursday!

Looking forward, our next 5 league games from now until the end of October read:

Leicester (HOME) WON - 3 points from 3
Stoke (HOME)
Liverpool (away)
Chelsea (away)
Burnley (HOME)

Without fail we need a minimum of 11 points from this possible 15 if we're to mount a serious title challenge.

Next up, after the Europa League, let's batter Sparky's men.

My thinking exactly. I know it's a big ask, but if we could ****** 4 points from those two away games it'd be fantastic.

Very ****** off that the game started 8 in the morning here in Brazil. Completely missed it. I just saw the line-up and i cried a little with our midfield today. Fellaini and Ronney in the bench, that's just priceless. Def gonna see the match replay.

Good day for the u18s also against stoke

We won 2-0 with goals from Makela and Burkart. First start for Makela under McKenna with Boonen not playing.
Burkart looks class! Can see why Barca and Bayern were after him also.

Replay on MUTV from 5pm.

Watched him in the derby win (for us) last week, nice player. Chong looks great on the ball as well..

Was a good game! That lad who Sabatoui our GK took out looked class for you guys.

Yeah i thought our new system of moving all the lads up a year wouldnt pay off, but they all seem to have stepped up and play some great stuff, across all the levels down.
