The Manchester United Thread

Hull keeper doing a Karius against West Ham and standing way too far over the other side this free kick.

And nearly punished for it. Lucky man.

I'd never heard of Harry McGuire tonight but he's been absolutely superb back there for Hull.

That's what happens when you cross with your right foot Darmian ;)

Oh thats terrifically harsh on Hull. Deserved more than to go down 2 for their endeavour. But you don't often get what you deserve in football.

Puts a whole different complexion on what was fixing to be a great second leg and probably kills the tie.

Fellani always seems to have no idea how to celebrate a goal just runs a bit awkwardly until some teammates come to celebrate with him

United more than worth the 2-0 lead here, should have killed this first half. Pogba intent on destroying the woodwork.

Think He knocked the wind out of poor Jose there XD

Must say, as much as I don't like Fellaini, Mourinho has showcased some really good management with him. It would've been easy to not play him again and take the hump like all of us after that braindead error against Everton. But give Mourinho his dues, he's handled it well.

Happy with that. 2 gls loads chances created should of had more. Rested key players. Winning streak continues. Hardly got out of second gear! Bring on Sunday

Good result. Could've been easily 5-1 in truth but it's a good scoreline to take to the away series

Torn between the fact I like him as a player and the fact we've got our transfer money back...

That celebration by Fellaini, poor lad exorcised couple of demons there.

What's the reason behind the second leg being on the Thursday BTW?
Was interested so I googled it and apparently it is because Hull and Southampton play on Sunday so they can't play on Tuesday and for TV reasons both games can't take place at the same time. Not sure if there is any logic as to which game is on the Thursday or if it is just random

Hope Morgs has the game of his life against City. Very clever mister Woodward. See if they want Rooney and Fellaini and Memphis at the same time :)
