The Manchester United Thread

I'd keep Rojo and bin Jones and Smalling. Funny how things change.

Getting rid of Smalling entirely seems a bit like overkill honestly, unless he is only going to accept being one of the 2 week in, week out starters. He's a tidy enough player, homegrown, English.

Exactly. Cut losses on Jones, the time has come, he's never going to be reliable. Keep the others though.

I say keep Smalling as well, his height could be useful in some games and he's not much worse than Rojo.. Jones tho, I like him but he's dead 80% of the season :(

Can't see us selling Smalling. He's home grown, fit most the time and usually a solid player. Still think we will sign a partner for Bailly. Most likely Gimenez from Atletico.

Rojo should stay in my opinion.
He is improving as a player... What's not to like about that?

According to Ballbags. We are in talks with Griezmann, and just favourites for James signiture. Said Madrid will let him go for 35m euros. Not sure we need both. But 35m euros would be worth a punt on James. Would give us that left footed attacking option for the LW even though he's not a natural winger he's played there a lot throughout his career.

James for 35m is absolute bargain imo, lovely player.. lovely technique and decent physique, not the fastest and maybe a bit lazy defensively for Mou.. but this guy will get us goals/assist.

Also do you guys think we'll get Griezmann without CL next season?

I still believe we can get CL through EL, but if not.. :'(

I would take James for that price 35m euros. Can't see it being that cheap though! And yes I think we will still get him without CL. Will just cost us more.

Cost us more? His release clause is 100m I think? :o or do you mean more by wages and stuff?

I guess he meant the wages and bonuses. We gotta offer something big if we cannot offer CL footy. Which is like: rich guy having a small **** but thick wallet. :D

Squad for the u19s Dallas Cup

United: Max Johnstone, Theo Richardson; Jake Kenyon, Lee O'Connor, Matthew Olosunde, Regan Poole, George Tanner, Tyrell Warren; Aidan Barlow, Ethan Hamilton, Callum Gribbin, Tosin Kehinde, Tom Sang, Callum Whelan; Joshua Bohui, Nishan Burkart, Zak Dearnley.

Be careful what you wish for. There's a reason why Madrid are getting rid of James. He's injury prone, lazy and has a horrible attitude. This has got Di maria written all over it.

think its time to sell him not moved forward at all on him loan i know hes playing a bad team but so is defo and look what hes done this season shame really look good a few years back

Yeah would sell as well. Shame it didn't work out, burst on the scene then never kicked on for some reason. I know Warren Joyce slated his attitude and stuff during certain games at u21 level. Especially when him and Pereira were trying to out do each other, like scoring from corners and ridiculous distances. Will have a decent career no doubt.
