Dont know what happened to him because he was easily Madrids second best player in that 2014/15 season he was incredible.James? He's basically Mata except lazy. Ancelotti didn't want him, while both Rafa and Zidane didn't use him. If three different CL winning managers don't play the guy, there must be a good reason.
Seen a few reports saying between 21-24m. Very good value especially in today's crazy market!Hernandez's all round game was always lethal. He just needed a run of games. I'd have him back.
Mourinho wouldn't be signing Hernandez to be the main man. But an option to get you a goal and rotate with Zlatan, someone with experience of leading a line at a good level.Maybe I'm wrong but when I think back to great strikers under Mourinho I think Drogba, Zlatan, Milito, Benzema etc. etc.
I'm not sure Hernandez would have the physicality to be such a hit again in the PL under a Mou team, maybe I'm wrong but for me I think we need a striker with some more power as well as having the pace obviously.
Im not saying Mourinho is completely blameless in the LB problem but most of its on Shaws shoulders I'm afraid. Not been helped by his brother or agent spouting **** in the press and on social media. Only Shaw can decide his Utd career now. It's all well and good make these additions, some are definitely needed, but for me with the LB situation, it has been a mess of Mourinho's creation. Yes I understand Shaw has his problems, but you do not publically rip the guy like he has done without expecting behind the scenes implications.
I'm just disappointed because Shaw was real good under LVG up until his injury, Mourinho almost hasn't even give him the chance he deserves. Regardless of how this season went for Shaw we should be looking for the future with him, rather than pushing him out the door.
We definitely need a striker, CB and winger (rather than just a makeshift wide forward, hello James Rodriguez) though. CM is arguable but favorable to get another one of quality if we can.
Rumours are Shaw starting I hear
