Big risk whoever signs him for that fee. Not played since Jan.

he will def improve liverpools defence though.gonna be a very competitve league again next season.expecting the quality of the league to be raised year on year now such is the financial clout

To start with Zlatan wouldn't cost us 50m ish and secondly he is doing great in his physiotherapy. And I want him to stay not to be first choice.

whilst it would be nice if he stayed, cant see a 36 yr old zlatan warming the bench for most of the season.let him have his swansong and line his pockets in china/usa.

76 points and we only finished 4th. That's our joint 4th highest points tally the PL era I believe.

It's ridiculous the pace being set for just the CL spots. Let alone before you think about winning it. And 6 into 4 every year just doesn't go.

Hey, we may not ultimately end up with van Dijk. Things can happen in negotiations. But as I type, everything I hear from people I trust given past tidbits they've dropped on different things before time is he only wants to come one place and talks have been good.

There is more chance of us signing Lionel Messi than Zlatan staying and not being first choice! I think he'll go personally.

I think he will go. But Mourinho got him to stay, don't think there would be any chance he would start every game. Will likely leave as you said. But he could be tempted to stay to achieve bigger things.

I'd be happier to see him go, great player but we need to move on and it will only make our general play better IMO.

For our CB signing Sky Sports reckon it will be one of Van Dijk, Lindelof or Keane. Out of them three Van Dijk for me.

Sky Sports are useless. They use their betting site to drive their own news, and thus drive the market. Very shady, very wrong.
Not interest in either 3 tbh. Gimenez please.

As for Zlatan, whether he stays is neither here nor there. I'm interested in a fast multi faceted forward ie Griezmann.

Keeping Zlatan would be the best thing for Rashford IMO. It will guarantee Rashford enough playtime, while Zlatan would still play plenty of games. If you would buy a high profile striker right now, it might be possible Rashford will find very little playtime in the STR position due to competition.

Gimenez if definately the one I hope we are looking at!

one of the many things wrong with sky, corrupt from top to bottom.I really hope we can get the griezmann deal done and quickly, think weve all had enough of drawn out negotiations.plus ive just heard that caballero is leaving city and we may need a keeper!

Christ Almighty, can you people just stop with this nonsense about Zlatan supposedly recovering far ahead of time, having magic knees or whatever? You don't have a slightest idea how he is recovering, all the news circulating about it come from Raiola's marketing people. Maybe he recovers or maybe he doesn't, either way, you don't know. It's embarrassing to be even reading that ****.

i just cant see him coming back to the same level.if we are looking to progress then there is no room for sentiment

Funny talking about it today but nobody's really been that arsed about you winning last night. From a rivalry/ competitor standpoint.

I mean don't get me wrong, I don't know anyone that wouldn't of rather Ajax won. But nobody's real narked today that they didn't. More a 'meh, far bigger things right now than Utd winning last night.'

This time last week it would have been as different again. But Monday, and it happening so close to home, put a whole different perspective on things this week. Shrugs.

i think you are right bro.Im so happy we have qualified for champions league and bagged two major trophies but t6o see the league table and the gap between us and chelsea, regardless of them having no european football, leaves a bitter taste.Cant help thinking like that tbh

Mad that he was hobbling around, even before the game, without his crutches last night most the time.

You would have thought Utd would have been all over protecting that leg.
