This. So he is back on his feet faster than expected. Doesnt mean he will be playing, all it means is that he can walk months ahead of schedule.

You may not have heard anyone venting but I've had a City fan going on about it, the guy has filled his FB with comments about tinpot cups and how dare the 'Stretford' scum claim the win was for the city when they aren't from the city (ie the usual bullcrap). Where football is concerned he is your typical modern day blinkered fan who thinks the sun shines out of the **** of everything city. Needless to say fans of other clubs put him in his place and he's trying to make out that it wasn't what he meant, whilst digging himself into a bigger hole with further bigoted comments.

Absolutely. My feelings on that don't need saying again.

Just ironic the B/S your managers currently coming out with after he lambasted and mocked Rafa winning the Europa with Chelsea. A competition he never wanted to manage in as it was beneath him. Now it's completely flipped.

Funny how that happen's.
 
So our rumored targets are Belotti, keane, lindelof and griezmann.

Tbf, the europa league wasn't a path to the Champions League at that point. Believe it or not, I'm more excited about qualifying for the UCL than winning the europa league tbh. The cup is just the icing.

Would take Griezmann from that list and that's it. Maybe Keane if Smalling and Jones go for back up. Need a quality CB to be starting next to Bailly.

Keane is quality lol. He's outplayed all our center halves this season. Lindelof would be good for depth. He can play anywhere across the back 4 and at defensive mid.
 
Looks like City close to agreeing deals for Walker, Mendy, Silva. 3 good signings for about 160m. Not sure the FBs will solve any of there defencive issues. Or they really need Silva but 3 good players non the less. Can't wait for the new season already :)

They need to rebalance the CM thats when you will see their defensive issues as fixed as they can be in a Guardiola set up. Think they need a big powerful DM who can put a stamp on things or someone athletic who covers every blade like Kante.

The longer Peps been here, the less those problems have become. Particularly since Kompany came back and he had a settled back line.

Finish above City and there's a good chance you win something. Don't see that changing next season. The worst thing that could of happened for everyone else IMHO is for him to have a tough first year. He'll of learned a heck of a lot about this league and where things went wrong this year.

Still think he will need to change things when plan A font work though. No matter how good your team or style is. It's hard to be one dimensional in the Prem.

But then if Chelsea don't have that abnormal 12 in a row or whatever it was they quite possibly do.

City and Pep are the only team that really scare me if they get it right that could elevate themselves clearly over the other 5 and have a period of domination. As much as anyone can dominate in today's mega money age.
 
City clearing out now, expect fresh quality brought in.

Depending on who is in / out by the end of the window, I expect them to be winning the league next year

Was always going to be up there. Sounds like Silva and Mendy completed. Walker and Pickford next.
