Mata has been consistently playing well getting double figures and assists every season. And it's Mky first season and was most probably the most important player for us winning the EL. Without his goals we would of gone out ages ago. Next season he will be a different level. And Mata will be the same. If we are after any winger I want a natural pacey winger.
 
yes city will be better im sure next season but if they dont sort the defence it wont matter how many flair players they sign.pep was clearly struggling this year to adapt and he needs to up his game if city are to be champions

Goals scored are going up and up the PL.

Defence in this league is becoming less of a priority to having not only players that can score from all over, but playing attacking football.

Coming off Ferguson you should know that more than most.

IF he's allowed to be.

It's not been so much the player but the constraints put on him.

can see your point but it will cost them if they dont strengthen the centre backs in particular.

Oh, no question. Don't get me wrong. You still need to be able to defend to a decent degree.

But defence winning championships is becoming less and less to just outscoring everyone the more the game evolves.

Really? I mean, really? If we're getting greizmann, there absolutely no need to silva.

Plus i'm pretty sure that i'd want 3 players from monaco before silva (Fabinho, bakayoko, mbappe)
 
Guys, this isnt ******* football manager. Where the holy **** would Silva have played if Griezmann is our no.1 target?
 
If we sign Griez, what happens to Martial?Also, wouldn't Rashford's growth be stunted?
 
As good as Griezzmann is I'm not totally convinced it's anywhere near to being done because for this to happen we'll have to pay the release clause which is like £86m, **** of a lot of money. Whether we're willing to do so, is hard to tell at this stage.

True, where Woodward's involved I highly doubt it's an issue. I think it will be done anyway, sooner or later, might drag a bit. He's coming out now cooling the air, as you tend to see before big moves.
