As good as Griezzmann is I'm not totally convinced it's anywhere near to being done because for this to happen we'll have to pay the release clause which is like £86m, **** of a lot of money. Whether we're willing to do so, is hard to tell at this stage.

The money was never the issue. That's the easy bit tbh

True, where Woodward's involved I highly doubt it's an issue. I think it will be done anyway, sooner or later, might drag a bit. He's coming out now cooling the air, as you tend to see before big moves.

Also, what's the status on Shaw?Do you guys think he will be able to return to fulfill his potential?
 
This is how I feel it'll be for next season

OUT:

Zlatan and/or Rooney both out most likely?

Carrick OR Fellaini will leave I think?

Jones OR Smalling, one of them?

Shaw to go on loan or get sold, hopefully loan?

De Gea, somehow feels like he's staying?

IN:

ST - Lukaku? Morata? Belotti?

AM - Griezmann? James?

CM/CDM - Bakayoko?

CB - Keane? V.Lindelöf?

LB/RB - Mendy? Semedo?

Probably gonna be something completely else tho haha

^^^^^ If all those players leave, and all those come in, it's gonna' be a small squad as your HG 8 is well down.
 
I really hope Shaw stays and fulfills his potential.Is Lindelof good?I've never watched him play.I think Zlatan will go if Griez comes in.I think we should stick with Rashford and not buy any new strikers.We could use a no nonsense CB, that is for sure, is Lindelof that kind of a defender?We need a good controller style player(Kroos is the dream, but he ain't coming).Kimmich could be nice if we could get him to play there again(used to be a cm, plays RB, so has a good defensive understanding too).I'd take Semedo for RB, sure.

If DDG goes, we should take a risk and get ourselves Gianluigi Donarruma.If he gets jelly legs at any point in time, we can simply play Romero in his place.

I don't think we need James or any other 10 for that matter if we get griez

It will be 4231. And we don't need a new RB Valencia just signed a new contract and talks of him being Captain next season. Plus we have Darmian, TFM, Tuanzebe, Bailly, Young that can play there. DDG won't leave imo Madrid won't match what we deem fair price. Laporte has said he's not moving, just signed new deal and rejected City. Weigl won't move his long term injury till sometime next season.

Fellaini and Carrick will stay. Mourinho has talked Zlatan into hanging around till after he recovers before deciding his future. Yeah Smalling will defo be off Jones will stay. Shaw staying now apparently, still gonna be out a while and will be rotating with new LB. Think will be Belotti as Morata wants to be in Italy and with his girlfriend. Griezmann enough said ;) will be Bakayoko, Fabinho or Dier imo. Mendy fight with City. Don't need a RB. Could maybe see Matuidi come in for better depth CM.

Would like to keep Darmian and Young, good squad options, but wouldn't hold it against either of them if they wanted to leave for regular footy. Zlatan very much down to the injury situation and what he feels himself.
 
I really like Darmian, think he can be first choice LB and 2nd behind Valencia on RB

Yeah think Wilson could leave also. And Willock will leave he's already told club.


Sky just interviewed Jose and asked him if Greizmann was joining. He said he didn't know and that they should ask Woodward instead...
