I'll believe there's no interest when Mourinho has signed another DM instead.

Yeah dissapionting but it sure is weird that he's been available for 3 consecutive windows and no one really seems interested. Not fussed tbh will have to see who Mou wants. Absolute gold on Social Media from Utd fans since the BBC report! Mourinho is clueless, Ed is a ****, Let's give up on next season already blah blah blah
 
It's the middle of June, the transfer window isn't worth talking about.
 
It would be a big error not to sign a DM this window. I think Simon Stone from BBC is the same guy who said we wouldn't bid for Lindelof in January though.

Won't mind too much if we get another one like Bakoyoko, Wanyama or even Matic (unlikely I know). Not keen on the thought of Dier at all.

Jose has give the club 25 targets that cover all the options he wants for transfers in every scenario. Nothing to be done now but sit back for the next few weeks and re-assess then

Yeah he was right though we never bid for him in Jan. Just started getting the deal in place for now. Think Bakayoko will sign for Chelsea and we will get Matic. Be happy with that. Plus Bakayoko isn't a DM.
 
I'm quite glad if we don't sign a DM, means we'll play some kind of 4231/4411 with Pogba - Herrera!

Just saying as I prefer us playing 4231/4411 over 433/4141. :D

Then when we play the big teams we can have Fellaini in a 3 because we have no DM sounds good :O also look forward to us getting spanked by the top teams in the CL :(

We'll see, just think it'll be 4231 most of the time and then carrick/fellaini if we play a 3 man midfield..

But with the signing of Morata and most likely Perisic and/or another attacking mid/winger it looks like we'll play 4231/4411 with the amount of attacking players we'll have.. Mkhi, Mata, Rashford, Martial, Lingard and add another 1-2 in Perisic etc..

I'm pretty sure if we don't sign a DM we will have a pretty similar season to last! And will have just as ***** a record against our title/top 4 rivals same as last season. Also we will get rinsed in the CL big time! DM is a must.

I'm hoping it was injuries / not scoring enough on our chances was our problem last season, hopefully our incoming signings can help us with that!

Also hope with Lindelöf coming in and reports saying we're going for another CB means Blind might get the chance in DM, who knows!

Yeah our conversion rate was poor. But also not having a proper DM last season was a big problem. We had no balance in CM either Herrera or Pogba were having to play more restricted roles, which effected us in many games. Yes Herrera and Pogba can play in a 2 but with Herrera not being a DM it will always take away from Pogba being freed up to create, and he will have to do more tracking back. And out Injury record was pretty good compared to other seasons.

yes bro,take the shackles off pogba and he will flourish.Once jose gets the balance the right,and he will,we will be so much more dangerous

Just wondering what you guys think of Aubameyang to United rumours that have surfaced today. Apparently PSG have ended interest.

He's available for €70million so would work out a cheaper option than Morata (not sure about wage demands)

Personally I think Morata suits the united mourinho style better, but if a player like Aubameyang is available for a similar if not cheaper price would you guys prefer him over Morata?

Both different styles of forward but if mourinho wants flair and pace Aubameyang is that guy.

As a front 3. That pace would frighten any defence.

With Pogba Herrera and a DM (fabinho/matic) as a midfield 3.

Would choose Morata. The prices will be similar and Aub was demanding similar wages to Ibra. Plus Morata is younger and suits a Mourinho style of STR. Plus Aub has said in the past he's not really looking to play in the Prem.
