Great to see the lads back in training today. Got the butterflies and excitement building for the tour and new season. Good to see Mourinho laughing and joking with the MUTV crew giving May and Paddy some stick. Looks in good spirits.

Really quite sad to see Rooney go, even if his form has dropped off a bit. He joined United just when I began following them closely and have really enjoyed watching him smash in all his goals and win everything he could with the club. Sad to see the final link with the team that I first really paid attention to. Definitely a United legend to me and hopefully he can help us by scoring a few against the rest of the top 6 for everton
 
Have my tickets for the Sampdoria friendly in the Aviva. Always a good night out in Dublin.
Park up at Stephens Green and stop in Every bar on the walk down :D

No one has ever really cared either way that he's from croxteth
 
Rooney wasn't perfect, on or off the pitch. But for me he is a united legend and deserves his place in our history books. Wish him all the best
 
I always forget how many assists Rooney has made over the years. He's got 101, 1 behind Lampard in the most ever assists (4th most ever currently)

So he could be 3rd highest assist maker ever behind only Fabregas and Giggs.

He won't catch Giggs on 162 but could overtake Cesc on 107 if Cesc was to leave the league or something.

As it seems D.Alves snubbed City and is heading to PSG, which means PSG will have 3 RBs in D.Alves, S.Aurier and T.Meunier.

Any chance Aurier could be heading to United? Would you guys want him?

Loads of United fans don't consider Rooney a legend, a lot of people never forgave him for what he done in the past to the club. For me he's not in the bracket of legends like: Busby, Scholes, Law, Charlton, Fergie etc.
