Think the Jones ban will get overturned and Blind wasn't given a suspension! Think the fines will stick though for the club, Blind, Jones. Mou will play a back 4 in the SC.
 
Manchester United is delighted to announce the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea on a three-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.

The 28-year-old Serbian international midfielder has won a number of club and individual honours including league titles in both England and Portugal.

A midfield 3 of Pogba, Hererra and Matic pretty much has it all. Will be interesting to watch this season
 
A good signing, if not one I've heavily questioned due to other possibilities this summer, but I'm hoping that he really pushes those ahead of him (Pogba *cough*) on to greater things.

He's still excellent at what he does, it's just that what he does is very limited. He's an absolute beast physically, build like a tank and can run for days, but elite clubs need more versatile outlets in their defensive midfield than just a guy who can only win the ball and pass it to creative teammate.
 
Delighted with this signing.
A nice start to the week and hopefully I'll see him get a run out at the Aviva.

Just watched his interview on MUTV. Came across very determined and delighted to be here. And listening to him talk about his possition/role in the team has me very excited. Just the way he talks about reading the game and knowing what to do in certain situations or filling in when a player leaves his space. Shows great ingame intelligence to me.
 
A good if somewhat limited and inconsistent player. Great price of minimum £40m rising to £45m for him. Effectively pays for the Bakayoko deal. Class from Ambramovich to grant Matic's wishes and let him go to United as a thank you for the two titles he won for us. Did the same with Cech as well. Doubt United will ever return the favour but thats fine. Frustrating that we provided a solution albeit less than ideal one for United but hopeful that we have a replacement lined up.

Hey.. we gave Arsenal Silvestre and Welbeck :P

As for Matic, he'll be in a limited deeper role (even though so important) so he'll likely thrive.

Exactly the sort of role where he has shown so much inconsistency over the past two seasons. Nowhere near the uproar among Chelsea fans as compared to when we sold Mata. Also he was your third or fourth choice target for a reason...

Frustration is more among Chelsea fans because we provided a rival with a solution without seemingly having signed a replacement of our own.
