So seems Pereira is leaving on loan again... to Valencia.
Look, it doesn't take much, but I am genuinely ****** off with this if it happens. He was in La Liga last season and was outstanding. We don't need him to go to another team in La Liga, as he has proven he can do it there.
What we need is for him to show it in the Premier League, I expected him to get a fair shot at United this season... obviously not... I don't know why because it's not like we have a wealth of attacking depth that is better than he.
But if we are going to loan him, at least do it for the best interst of his United career and make it to a PL club ffs.

The premier league is not the be and end all
1) He wanted to go to Valencia
2) Playing in Spain will improve him
3) It's not about "proving" or whatever **** cliche people want to use, it's about becoming a better player
4) You ever thought he might want to end up staying in Spain permanently?

That's presuming any PL club wanted him z. And at that, it would, if you've any sense, be an attacking footballing side where he'd flourish and continue to develop. And you'd need a guarantee of games. Just loaning him anywhere to get game time aids nobody. Loans have to be the right fit.
If he's not going to play, and is that far down the depth chart so to speak, but he will play in La Liga at a real fine football club where he'll be allowed to develop and play to his strengths, how can that be a bad thing?
At the least, it adds to his value if you then decide to sell him next summer.

So we're developing a great talent for a career destined for La Liga? That's exactly my worry.
This guy is a talent, we should be shaping him for United.
Why on earth would we be even considering the prospect of him being elsewhere permanently? If so, ****** sell him. (Although we never should be).
If he makes 30-40 appearances and plays anywhere near as well as he did for Granada, he's going to be an excellent player. We are trying to turn him into a deadly little deep playmaker. Spain and Valencia have a pretty good history of that.
And how does playing hoof ball at West Brom shape him for United?
He should of been given a shot at United first and foremost. What on earth could he do to get one this season based on his last loan move?
Our creative central midfield depth isn't great... Fellaini... Herrera...... it kind of ends there.
Think you're doing a big disservice to teams in PL.
What about Southampton? Watford under Marco Silva? Plenty of good footballing teams in the prem. He is better off in this league than La Liga, if he is going to make it at United anytime soon.
Personally I think this is just us kind of looking to sell him in a season or two. Annoyingly, I really think he could of offered us something here this season, competing with the fringes of our first team squad.
Honestly don't be surprised if we're a few months into the season with a few injuries like last season and thinking to ourselves... if only we had Pereira as an option now.

His last loan move was exactly the level he was at, hence why he was there.
The idea that he is better off playing in the Premier League to get a shot at United is nonsense.
Our best defender hadn't played a minute of PL football before he joined.
He's a playmaker. Which league creates the best playmakers?
I'd rather see him go and play 40 games for Valencia that 10 for us. Worst case scenario, put a recall clause in
At the moment, we're fine in depth. He's at least 3rd choice in that CM role (could argue even Fellaini's ahead for Jose), 4th & 5th in advanced areas. Pogba's never injured, Herrera has a decent record too.

Valencia are playing some really good football and have a really good manager in Marcelinho, who was in charge of bailly at Villarreal so can produce a player ready to slot into a United team. A good manager is important in helping to develop a young player as is first team football and both those boxes will be ticked at Valencia and they are a team that will be playing as the better side in games which is more like what he will face at United than running shuttle runs in front of a back four under Pulis. If I was him I would 100% pick Valencia over any English team that would realistically give him first team football

Related, kind of ..... If I ever emigrated, I'd love to live in Valencia. Boss City and a boss football club. With, now Atlético have sadly moved, the best ground in Spain.

Played some great stuff. Good place for Periera to hone his skills in a role Mourinho wants him to play! 3 games 3 wins 10 gls 0 conceded dominating games with different scorers. Zzeezzy meltdown starting already

Sorry, but you guys change your tune. Virtually everyone here at start of season wanted Pereira given a good chance at United this season. Suddenly 3 wins and everyones mind has been narrowed it seems.
Btw Rhqq, that depth isn't even much when you consider that's for a 2 in the midfield. What if we go to a 4-3-3?

Oh and one last thing on this, it's not a meltdown when it's an opinion on a player who we should be keeping. Honestly, whenever there is a point of view that differs from the majority, it's a 'meltdown' apparently.

Point of interest. You were killed telling everyone that Periera would play a major role this season early in the summer down to Mourinho saying he really liked him and had been in regular contact with him through his loan. Now you're saying it's a perfect loan in a role he really wants him to play. Mate, Mourinho talks that many different ways most things that come out of his mouth aren't worth a ****.
If you've been bitten once on it with Periera this summer, don't fall for it again.
Just backs up my point honestly, people change their tune to suit the time of need.
Majority of United fans were all saying Pereira should be given a good shot at United.
I get that times and opinions change, but it's not like we suddenly have more depth or anything than we did in midfield pre-season. So there is no justifying it other than being hypocritical.
