Top drawer, World class save from de Gea. That lead to a more than deserved equaliser the way Stoke have had a real go and dominated the second half.

Belting game now.
 
The first half anything like the second? Literally turned on as Stoke scored and then you equalised so only saw the bad defending the end the half both sides.

Real good second half like. Interesting to see if Stoke can keep up the pace and work rate. Put a heck of a lot in the first 25 since HT.
 
God that's a dead poor miss for the winner Lukaku. Great ball from Martial.

And this 180 seconds between posts thing is a real pain when you're posting during a match.
 
Annoying, if our defence was anything like first 3 games would of not made those mistakes. Darmian shouldn't be LB for me.

But Stoke is probably one of the harder outside top 6 places to go, so guess can't complain too much.
 
still dont know what happened to jones,i mean to be tripping over his own feet how does he get himself in that position??

Because it's Phil Feckin Jones! Look, I get it, he is good at times. But way too unorthodox and these little errors are costly.

I know Smalling isn't a saint, but Jones should be dropped for such wank marking at a corner.

Bailly was equally as poor the first goal, playing the fella on-side then being the wrong side of him. So it wasn't just him today.

True, drop them both! :P Nah in all seriousness, I think they'll have a week to recover anyway as can't play midweek.

So onto Basel, a nice win to start off CL would be good.

Lol. Sure Stoke are saying the same about their defending. Terrible defending the corner your opener. Then leaving Lukaku unmarked the middle the equaliser after Butland did all he could.

Not sure why Mourinho blanked Hughes the end. What's gone on there?

Yeah, winning start at home is vital the groups or you're playing catch-up from the off.

Not sure about the Mourinho and Hughes thing, I think Mourinho didn't take kindly to Hughes calling over the referee when Mourinho approached him for a chat in his technical area.

Yeh, this is why I hate international breaks, any kind of form you built kind of goes out the window and you start from scratch.

Not that this is an excuse, I mean I still expected a win. But I know Stoke have a pretty good team and they make it as difficult as possible.
 
Frustrating result, the only small positive we can take away is it was a 2-2, not a 0-0 or a 1-1; we haven't gone goal shy again. I'd much rather see a Jose team have an off day defensively instead of front of goal, as you know it isn't going to happen often and he'll be furious. Fair play to Stoke for going at us instead of being an 11 man punching bag. Lukaku needs to net that winner, but that's football. On to the next.
 
Fair result. Terrible defending from Bailly and Jones. Bailly simply watched his man scoring a first one XD
