The Manchester United Thread

People do have some mad, often unrealistic expectations of how quickly guys are ready to be brought back huh? (Not just in this thread but from most teams fans.). And into the vitally important, first home group game at the very top level no less. A WORLDS away from 23's action.

Two or three times Shaw's been mooted from different posters lately.
Most of them have likely not even watched the games in the u23s tbh. He defo looks ready. Not pulling anything going into tackles, and looks fit as anything. Maybe the importance of the game will go against him. But he looks fine fitness wise. And not feeling/showing any affects mentally.

Still a massive step up in every respect after being out so long. I'd wager if he was thinking about easing him back the team anytime soon, the League Cup next Wednesday would be the one he'd do it in.

Everton next mate at Home.

Interesting. As utterly shambolic as Everton are (and man is it turning nasty for Koeman in this City from the Blues after his very poor spending this summer leaving them with a totally unbalanced squad which is showing on the park. Not many trust him. Not many are behind him. Evertonians at their finest haha); Rooney must be a good bet for a goal or two the weekend.

Need to look at the prices on that.

Exactly. I can see him being on the bench at best given Darmain's horror show. But i'll definitely raise eyebrows if he was to start. Surely Blind will start

hey guys, do any of you know what will be the starting 11 for tonight game? thanks guys

1-0 to Utd. Popping the ball around, pressing high. Bohui lay it off to Barlow to slot home after 4 mins :)

1-1 defence all over the place! Great finish though **** over the keeper.

1-1 at HT. Even game with Basel maybe just edging it. There 2 wingers look quality. Gomes and Oconner best players on the pitch so far. Gomes not seeing the ball enough. Chang and Hamilton so poor on the ball, no control in CM.

2-1 Utd Boonen putting away a good cross from a freekick from Barlow. After 6 mins of second half. 2 mins later Barlow nearly scores a Beckhamesque curler from 30yrds cracks off the post. One way traffic now.

3-1 Utd Gomes with a peno. After Boonen makes a great run only for the LB to bring him down in the box. **** 3-2 Basel score from a corner. Boonen out jumped by there CB. Strange for him to be marking him.

4-2 Bohui peno. After Gomes gets hacked down by there CB that just scored :) Sang and Tanner off Kenyon and talented Garner on. LMAO 4-3 Peno to Basel after given for I have no idea!

Red card Basel captain. Flying knee in the back of Bohui. Last 10 mins watching Gomes has been like watching Iniesta. Can't believe he's just turned 17. Miles to good for this level!

Finished 4-3 in a cracking end to end game. MOTM Gomes! More and more impressed with Bohui everytime I watch him. Carbon copy style to Rashford. Good to see Kenyon and Sebatoui back from injury. Now let's see a positive result for the first team!

Happy with that, Valencia still has that niggle, and Darmian was pants.

We can't say its not an attacking line up.
