That or Jones in a man-marking role (Hazard) like the FA Cup last season

Looks like we need to win this just to keep on the coat tails of City. Definitely don't lose.

Forget City z. Nobody's playing to catch them.

Calm down we're only 10/11 games in. I remember City starting last PL season 10 games winning on the bounce.

They have looked very suspect when Arsenal have actually attacked them and they do leak goals, which hasn't been enough and have been unfortunate in a sense with 2 of City's goals. One being offside and the other a very soft penalty.

Sure that's clutching a bit, but I'm still yet to be convinced you can win a title by scoring your way to it, maybe this season is the one but for me they are shaky at the back. No one attacks them to ever really test, so I guess it doesn't matter much at the moment.

But City players can't keep this intensity up for the whole season in all the major comps, so the defence will inevitably be tested more as season goes on.

This City side is a **** of a lot stronger than last year.

Nobody else is to that degree. Right from the summer I always thought 5 clubs where realistically been playing for 2 through 4.

Personally seen nottin' to change that.

Yeh but that defence isn't imo, the fullbacks are more effective especially attacking sense. But if you get at them they are suspect, Walker and Delph as fullbacks are good going one way, not so good the other. Luckily for them it doesn't matter much at the moment as no one can attack them much anyway.

Agreed they seem a different animal this season, but Zz's point about games eventually catching up on that questionable backline are fair.

Every team hits a bad patch, it's about how much room for error they stretch between ourselves & them before they hit it.

Yeh even 7/8 points seems quite a lot at this stage, would be great if we won today but I'm not seeing it unfortunately.

We won the 1st 6 on the bounce, got leathered by Spurs in game 7, and then won 3 of the next 8, last PL season.

We had 24 points at this stage. (Christ checking this info, we only kept 4 clean sheets before new year...gash)

Oh right sorry buddy, it must of been you won 10 games in all comps at start of season. I recall all 10 games of some kind won at start of last City season.

No worries, everyone makes the same stat, read it countless time recently.. We were much more gash last year.
