Pogba is such a difference to our team. Definitely the key player for us.

Good win, so glad to have Pogba back. So much more fluidity with him there, he makes everything tick, he makes everything more expansive, the players know to move when he's on the ball. It's just so much more fun when Paul Pogba is on the pitch.

Enjoyed that win today.
Spent an extended period in Newcastle on business in the 90's and grew to hate the Geordies.
I always enjoy beating them.

Cracking night out though. Ideally, Newcastle away would always be an overnighter.

Good performance yesterday. We didn't start well at all but i'd give Rafa some credit as they were tactically astute for the first 25 minutes. But as pogba grew into the game, we took control and started to penetrate that backline with more regularity. Maybe if pogba were still injured, we would've had a difference outcome.

We still badly need a LB though imo, Young can do a job there but him and Smalling were all over the place at times. Could of been 2-0 to Newcastle early on with their early chances, then it would of been very tough.

Overall good win, but hopefully the goals don't oversee the cracks we had, especially early on.

Problem for us is we are playing catch up still, 8 points behind and we have the tougher fixtures coming up in next few games with Arsenal away.

Young is vital in what we do though mate...high width & crosses. But I do get what you're saying.

Danny Rose left out of the squad yesterday for the Arsenal game (when fit) added to the hype. Then you have Luke Shaw who said he wants to play for Poch again, wondering if we could see some sort of swap.

As for City, John Stones hammy went I think...which will test them. Now they're relying on made-of-glass-nowadays Kompany to get them through this tough fixture congestion coming into the Xmas run in.
