The Manchester United Thread

TOD. Do you just want to change the side every single season?
Do you suffer from one of those made up conditions like ADDDHDSDDDHAH or something?

Not really no but the team clearly has issues and areas that need fixing. Your focusing to much on the players, when I was asking about systems tbh.

System depends on who we sign. Even depends if Jose will be here or not next season.

Not watched a lot of Malcom but everything I've seen of him is great, his left foot is really special

Reckon we'll see something like this tomorrow?

Injured: Valencia, Bailly, Fellaini and Carrick?

Maybe too many changes for Mous liking? I hope Matic and Lukaku gets a full rest at least!

I'd definitely start Shaw, McTominay, Pogba and Ibra. Hopefully a good run out for Tuanzebe later on if we're comfortable. Would like to see Gomes on the bench and get a run for the last 20 or so.

If Mkhitaryan starts and is poor again that's him definitely gone. Even a good game against Championship opposition is hardly a marker but will hopefully boost confidence. Having him back on form over the next few weeks will be a massive bonus with all the likely rotation. Ibra needs a good performance/goals for the same reason.

Gomes has been injured mate and only just started training again unfortunately. Can see Kehinde, Tuanzebe featuring. Shaw, Pogba, Zlatan should all start depending how Zlatand knee feels.

Think Pogba being back will be key for Miki getting his form back. No coincidence for me his form and productivity went to **** when Pigba got injured/suspended. He needs players feeding him just like Lukaku does.

Assumed Gomes was fit with him signing the contract recently. Not that that makes a difference haha. Not paid much attention to the younger groups recently. Cheers.

From Ogden-

Fellaini has undergone further scans in a bid to get to the root of the problem but, so far, the injury remains a mystery. And that has left Mourinho and United's medical staff unable to put a timescale on his return to action.

Per @Transfermarkt performance data, Paul Pogba's impact on Manchester United since October 23rd last year has been that of the most important player of any team in the Premier League.

Manchester United are a title contender with him, but they're far from it without him.

Every bit as important as a Kane for Spurs.

Bit worrying really. Yes we will still pick up points/wins without him. On the other hand no one team should miss a player that much. We seriously need quality in CM in Jan or the Summer. Because after Matic and Pogba the drop off is huge.

Another thing that bugs me a little is we still don’t really have a settled 11 yet.

Mate said the other day despite spending 600M or whatever since Fergie retired, there were still 7 Fergie players on the pitch vs West Brom? Not sure if that's true, but madness if so.

DDG, Smalling, Jones, Young, Lingard. And suppose McTominey and Rashford.

Tbh our transfer policy since Fergie later years to the Mourinho era has been scattergun at best. Glad Mourinho is sorting that out.
