Remember people crying when Lingard got his new contract lol. And all the journalists this week saying Mourinho doesn’t improve players....
 
That felt like a huge win today. With a lot of players looking back in form. Rojo looking fit for the first time since returning. Jones good as all season. Shaw nearly back to his best was very good today. Herrera much improved and Mata in the second half. Pogba dominant rag dolling Everton all over the pitch MOTM. Lingard just keeps getting better. Lindelöf settled now. Martial dangerous as ever. Matic just doing what he does.

It was decent. 433 definitely the preferred system, need pogba constantly involved like that. Get M-Savic in and a Matic-Savic-Pogba midfield would do lovely. One of Ozil/Dybala/Griezmann to boost the front 3, preferably in back to front order

Tbh there very similar players. Put Griezmann in a team with held the defensive duties he has under Simeone he would be even better. Sqwuaka did a comparison last week and they was so close in all departments. Won’t get me crying if we end up with either :)
 
Yeah, today's performance/Formation showed how 4-2-3-1 does not work with our current players. Pogba won't do as great in a 2 man midfield if the players in front of him are *****. But 4-3-3 requires midfielders, which we don't really have.. reinforcements needed, badly!

contracts running out this summer; Carrick, Blind, Fellaini, Herrera, Mata, Zlatan, Young, Shaw. :'(

That left hand side of a 433 with Shaw, Pogba, Martial will be devastating. Much prefer this formation. Hopefully sticks with it now and Herrera can kick on. The right side is the main issue now especially RB. When Lukaku is back out Lingard at RW if we’re not signing one. Lot of talk in Brazil and France today about Moura from PSG but let’s see. Matic defo needs a rest against Derby!

As as regards to contracts. Blind , Darmian, Carrick, Fellaini can all go. Keep the rest!
 
Good 2nd half performance blew Everton away, whatever Jose done at HT worked, gotta give credit when due.

Also just to clear something up, even though I’ve been critical of Jose in last weeks, I have still said Mourinho is the right man atm. Just needs to assess if he still is at end of season. Not that unless this second half goes terribly I’d want him chopped at end of season either.

Need to let him have his 3 years unless we don’t make top 4.

id keep Blind he’s done little wrong since being here and has played multiple positions. It’s rare you get a good utility player and every squad could do with one.

Not happy De Telegraph reporting with playing time. Don’t really need him tbh. Tuanzebe should be getting his mins at CB. And Shaw and Young have the LB spot nailed down with Mitchell as back up. And he’s not good enough for CM. I like him don’t get me wrong, won’t be sad if he stays. But not really needed.
 
Ozil, Dybala, Milinkovic-Savic... God forbid you guys actually buy something that you need badly. Like a proper right back. Or a pair of wingers.

Savic would be a great buy and exactly what we need in CM! And we are linked with shed loads of wingers. RB we have Valencia, Young, and a top prospect develop at palace. Plus most of our CBs have done good enough when played there. We linked with the likes of Dybala and Griezmann, Ozil as we lack quality at 10 and they can play wide/IF second STRs.
 
Just leaned that Ribalta scouted and recommended Dybala to Juve and was involved in negotiations and has a good relationship with him and his family. We are defo gonna sign a star for big Wonga in the summer. Mourinho all but confirmed it. And No7 jersey will eventually be back :)
 
Need a LB, box to box CM, and consistent superstar up top if Jose is to stay. After that, possibly a RB, but reckon Tony V still has another season in him and can share a bit of the load with TFM.

Jose could go for Perisic again, who knows. Don't think so though

Shaw carries on like this he could solve a huge problem and save a **** load of cash. Mourinho impressed by his last performances. And with Mourinho comments about 2/3 in and out in the Summer maybe Shaw finally has won him or winning him over. Agree we need a top BTB to partner along with Pogba. Savic or Jorginho would be good shouts. Then that superstar and a RW would be lovely. Would take Perisic but **** knows how much they would want now, with his new contract and great form this season? Need to keep Periera and TFM here next season!
 
Jorginho not a box to box mate, very much a Carrick type of player,or Veratti. Which would be nice too, and could work.

Yeah its hard to know, will he even be here next season to sign these players? Lets just wait and see.
